Rubio's Coastal Grill — Restaurant in Lancaster

One of my favorite places to go on Tuesdays to just kick back, enjoy some tacos, watch the sunset almost as though it’s a slice of Cabo. The people who work at the Lancaster Rubio’s are dedicated, friendly, and committed to making sure all customers have a great experience. I cannot recommend this location more, it’s the best! The Palmdale location, while closer, suffers from more food quality inconsistency and doesn’t feel quite as welcoming. I absolutely adore the Lancaster location though. If I had any nitpick, it would be that sometimes the plates are a little bit cramped for the entrées. Especially when I get the leafy greens with dressing, sometimes that dressing soaks into the rest of the entrée. I would recommend asking ahead of time for a second plate. Otherwise, the restrooms are kept as well as can be for this region of the city. Make sure to use the app when visiting because Rubio’s happily offers the most consistent and rewarding features for regular visitors. One of my regular places and I always love going!

There was an unfortunate situation the last time I went to Rubios and I am still working to resolve it but I am rather disappointed at the way it’s being resolved currently. Still in a state of flux and I’m going to wait and see how management deals with it and I went through the app with communications to see if I can resolve the issue. Huge advice to visitors - MAKE SEPARATE ORDERS FOR FOOD CREDIT REDEMPTION. Do not put together orders involving points credits or anything promotional. You will get messed up. Whether it’s redeeming a receipt or anything through the app it must be a separate order or you will find yourself paying...

The gentleman in the front by the name of Joseph thank you for the great customer service. The only thing I didn’t like was as soon as we walk in one of his coworker ( older guy with black glasses ) talked to him. Joseph was helping an elderly couple assisting them on what they wanted to order when he rudely told him “ you can multi task and have them wait “when they were already ordering. Mind you it’s super slower only about 4 people in here. Customer service is key to any business. Rubio's is quietly ahead of the curve, especially for vegetarians in the AV. Pretty much everything is substitutable with their decent, but not outstanding Impossible Meat, but the real secret is getting a side of street corn, and asking for especial sauce on EVERYTHING. What's more, there are stealthy fries to be had, even if the guacamole is a little bit below par for the area. If you eat meat, order the shrimp two taco plate on corn tortillas, or one of the blackened burritos. I miss them the most...
