Taco Gonzales is a Mexican homestyle restaurant on the corner of Avenue J & division. I decided to stop in on my lunch and pick up some food to go. Instead of a plate, I sometimes like to grab a combination of “finger foods”. For lunch, I decided to grab two regular carbs asada soft tacos, a crunchy Carnitas taco, and a carne Asada sope. Not that many places have sopes, and I was very happy that they had them. The food was delicious and made just right. The soft tacos tasted like street tacos and the carne Asada was well seasoned. The Carnitas were very crispy and the crunchy taco was very delicious. The sope was very delicious and I recommend that everyone tries sopes every chance they get. There’s a very chill vibe in the restaurant and you can tell everything is homemade. The prices are also very good too.
