The Salvation Army Antelope Valley Corps Community Center — Attraction in Lancaster

I'm very disgusted with organizations like this and others the CEO of these organizations make over $200,000 a year yes it's a fact so does red Cross CEO and all the others they're up in the $300,000 range they're not really there for the people in need they're only there for people who donate and line their pockets for themselves they don't help the people 100% that need help and shelter in vouchers the gift two or three day old pizzas I wouldn't feed it to my dog they're hard as a rock while the CEO benefits from the donations the people who need help suffer still they don't provide Total Care for these people who need help they only help themselves I no longer donate to none of them anymore they're hypocrites they don't practice what they preach I need to use that money to build a homeless shelter Frozen the people that went out on the streets instead of lining their pockets with the money that's donated misuse of funds that's a fact shame on you salvation army you don't really care about people's needs or want to help them you're in it for yourselves put out very little help to help people just to make it look good I wonder how much money the government gives...

I have to give this place 5 stars my mother was in a big bind & they were supposed to pick up her stuff today but the truck broke down on the way to her house, when they called & told her that they couldn’t be their till next Friday I explained to Joshua the situation about her selling her house & that everything needs to be gone today he said he would talk to his supervisor to see what he can do well about an hour later he calls & said they will go & pick up the stuff (how awesome that was) but because we thought they wouldn’t be able to do anything we had already made other plans to just through it all away really sad because there was some pretty good stuff... I give them 5 stars because of of the outstanding customer service that Joshua provided to...

In my opinion a great provider of service to our community. They have lunch and dinner various days a week. With Christmas coming they have the Angel tree providing toys to kids. They have the shelter for our homeless to utilize and do other...
