The Village Grille — Restaurant in Lancaster

It's a nice old school place. It's better than IHOP or Denny's. It's similar to them. The atmosphere is like from the '50s. It hasn't been updated since then, but it has a nice homey feel the staff is on par. They're very attentive and make sure your needs are met in a timely manner. It go there at least once a month with the parents. It's one of our favorite places to get breakfast at some of the booths can be a little tight for four people, but they do have the bigger boost that I can accommodate us bigger people. Ordered eggs and Chile Verde, what I got was eggs rice and beans and one piece of meat ask Rosie if I could get more meat she went to ask the cook for a small bowl of meat but the cook didn't respond,so I went up to the cook and asked for a few pieces more of meat ,cook told me he wasn't going to do it,I told cook that all I got was a lot of sauce with one Lil piece of meat and I'm a regular customer! Been going to the village grill for 20 years. It's good food for the lancaster area and some of the last mom and pop restaurants in the area. A dying breed, unfortunately wit all the corporate cookie cutter restaurants. Here they still make your food by hand instead of reheating a tv dinner. It's nothing fancy and the prices have gone up to around 8 to 12 bucks but so has everyone else.
