Their pizzas are always delicious, if they would follow my order instructions for once. We ALWAYS order well done because if you don't, they're ususally under cooked and doughy. Our pizzas have not one time been cooked well done. We also always order Garlic, and butter cheese crust and always select EXTRA butter cheese (we LOVE parmesean!). Anyway, tonight i ordered online and selected my crust. Then i called to ask them "please don't forget the flavored crust, every time i order from you the crust is plain." The man on the phone was very nice . my pizza toppings were all correct ( i did pepperoni and bacon on the whole pizza, and feta and jalapenos.) And we've had issues a few times with half and half toppings so they got that correct that time! The only problem tonight is i think they got annoyed or whatever by me calling and reminding them not to forget the crust. So they put EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA butter, garlic, and parm. I shouldn't have to call and remind them to flavor the crust. That's what they're known for! I worked at a different hungry howies a couple years back so i can understand the first time was an honest mistake but to leave the crust plain every single time, when it says it right there on the receipt, tells me the insiders that make the pizzas just don't pay attention or just don't care. I will continue to order howies pizza it is our favorite. But the employees need to work on reading the reciepts more carefully. No customer should have to call and remind them how to do their jobs. When I worked at the one in grand ledge, I would make the pizzas and deliver them. I did not make ONE mistake and i ALWAYS had the order to the customer on time if not earlier. My customers were ALWAYS satisfied! On the card in the hotel I was in said we deliver to the room. I was told it would be an hr wait for delivery which was fine but almost an hr and a half later I get a call from the front desk saying my food was left there so my fiancĆ© went down to the front desk to get it and realizes that they didnāt bring the Pepsi or any of the sauces and I mean none of it the sauce for the bread the buffalo and ranch none of itās there. So I call th store and they tell me we will get a driver out to bring it to you which never happened. They are now closed so I call the next morning at 11 when they open and she tells me I have to bring my card in to get my refund which I canāt cause we are truck drivers and weāre already out of the area. She then tells me they used DoorDash cause their driver left at 7 and no DoorDash would bring a free delivery. They could have called to let me know and I could have done a refund that night. I called the corporate number and told them and they said I would hear from someone in 24-58 hrs later and Iām still waiting this was last week. My bill for that was over $30 and the only thing we was able to eat was the bread cause the wings were nasty...

This has been over the course of the last 15 months or so. I have literally only had 1 issue. 1. That is a pretty good batting average. Looking back on that particular order I think it would be fair to note that they were slammed and training a new employee. Those kinds of things are bound to happen. I guess it might be safe to say none of these people have ever worked a day in customer service! Gottta give them a break. They are doing their best. Iāve seen customers leave reviews about visits I was actually at. They are always in the wrong. If you truly had a bad experience, fine but it TRULY sounds like the owners of these 1 star reviews have expectations that are absurd! Go to this location and treat them as you would want to be treated and Iām sure you will not have an issue. Keep up...
