Yuck! We used the Domino's app to order a pizza and pasta from this place for the $6.99/each deal. We figured it would take a second to cook so we ran over to grab coffee then came back.
We were rung up by a rather disgruntled-acting tattooed tall lady who clearly had the kind of attitude that says "you are a nuisance and I wish you weren't here", even though I left a tip for a carry out order. When I asked for silverware and plates she acted like it was a huge inconvenience and a ridiculous request for me to make. Upon checking the food it was totally dry and unappetizing, the pizza was shrivelled and tiny looking, and the pasta was like half of a portion (didn't even come close to filling the container) and extremely pathetic. Luckily we hadn't touched anything yet and I was able to get a refund - which is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, when I asked for the refund the rude lady tried to tell me "it looks like that because the order was placed an hour ago" - but the receipt was timestamped and it was almost 30 minutes exactly since I had ordered. What a nutcase.
In summary, avoid. This place sells bad food and the staff are rude and unfriendly. I don't expect to be treated like a celebrity by pizza shop workers but I also will not put up with cashiers who act like I'm an inconvenience unless the food justified the negative experience - which this place didn't even come CLOSE to...
Read moreTo the public that researches reviews, I am a customer….. let me rephrase that I am a very impressed customer of Domino’s pizza in downtown Lansing, I placed an order that was miss interpreted by the answering service but that’s ok we are all only human…. As I mentioned I placed an order, for pick up at the store as I entered the establishments the workers were very busy even tho they were busy they acknowledged me instantly so kindness and attentiveness to their customers i see is pinnacle, my 3 pizzas were ready to go in the time given to me to pick up which is also awesome cause I have no patience 😂😂, as I reach home after attending to a family emergency I noticed my pizza needed attention to the miss understanding of the order so I called which I really don’t care to complain because as I mentioned we are all only human but with out delay upon explanation to my concern the worker on the phone said well please come with in 10 an we will have you a hot pizza made correctly…. As I mentioned I don’t like to complain so for the lady worker that made my complaint feel valid valued and understood she and the crew that work this establishment made us very happy customers…. Places like this is the corner stone of AMAZING business…. Thank you Domino’s Pizza...
Read moreI placed an order at 850pm from this store, for delivery at a local hole-in-the-wall lounge two blocks away. The driver was over an hour late because he decided to go somewhere else first. I called the store only to be put on hold for 15 minutes. I WALKED to the store in less than 3 minutes! They finally took me off hold as I stood outside their store. Even after speaking with the manager, it was another 15 minutes before I got my food. The driver told me he tried to call, which is true. But when I tried to return the call, there was no answer. The food arrived stone cold, virtually inedible. I was TWO BLOCKS AWAY. This level of service is a new low for dominos, and from a store I've ordered from reliably before in the past! Never again. I stopped ordering dominos at home a long time ago, and now I guess I won't be ordering at the lounge anymore either. Save your money and your sanity and order from Jimmy Johns. Your stomach will thank you. The paltry coupon they emailed me is poor compensation for cold, inedible food and an over hour long wait when I could walk to the store in less than 5 minutes....
