Bangos — Restaurant in Lansing

Food was just mediocre and the service wasn't that great. The guy that took my order was friendly but the cook not so much. They told me 5 minutes, and 22 minutes later I got my food. to be fair there were 3 people ahead of me in line. Walked back to my office to find out they gave me the wrong order. When I went back I ended up standing in line with all the same people who also got the wrong orders. I got the Bango breakfast bagel sandwich and it wasn't anything I couldn't have made at home. The bagel wasn't toasted and the bacon portion was pretty weak. Eggs overcooked in some places and under cooked in others. The potatoes were just that.. redskin potatoes cut in half and just cooked enough to say they were cooked and severely under seasoned. Menu has avocado on almost everything, obviously trying to cater to the latest trends rather than any original ideas. A few small additions to the menu and a shorter wait time would go a long way for these guys. Hopefully...

This was my first time for my girlfriend and I here. We visit babes often and I'm vegan so i was very excited to try out some of the breakfast sandwiches here. Once we got our order home I immediately could see the black, mushy avocados on our sandwiches. Now I know normally brown-ish avacados are safe to eat because of oxidization but this was mushy and did not look good at all. After removing the avacados we did eat the sandwiches and they were good. Id say just watch the quality control a little here folks . Fun for Adults and Kids! My nine year old daughter and I stopped downtown on one of our summer days off and tried Bangos! She is a little foodie at heart and loves to try new things. And Bangos did not disappoint! She had a chicken bagel sandwich that she ate every bite of! We only got one order of potatoes and I had to fight her off for those as she loved those, especially with all the delish seasonings on them! I had the Parkside and it was phenomenal.
