I had the absolute worst experience at this location which violated my rights by refusing to give me a supervisors name, corporate information, all while they had 4-5 rude, unprofessional and thug like disrespectful unsupervised minors working and breaking Michigan child labor laws. The cashier that helped me was nice at first when I got there around 8:34 pm to get an advertised food item and FREE smoothie. She was finishing up with a customer so I thought and then she started to help me. I don’t eat a lot of meat so she was helping me decide a good item, when a co-worker told her they can’t make any food after 8:40 and turn the ovens off, so she told me I had to just pay for the smoothie after talking for 3 minutes. So, I told her it wasn’t fair to deny me the offer after driving there and getting there before 8:40. So, she went to the back and came back with another co-worker. I had started a TikTok while she was away to see how it would turn out, so when she came out I was laughing and said “I’m doing a TikTok so let’s see how this turns out.” All of a sudden the cashier flips out and started yelling like she was a victim, bipolar mental health patient and everything went downhill. Even her coworkers joined in like gang members and said they were calling the police when they started the entire situation.
This is definitely a RACIST establishment and no person of color should go there, as I was the only person of color there with a crowd of people. More happened but I rather not share it. It was only my third visit around 7-8:30ish pm and each time the chairs would be sitting on top of the tables and no one could sit down if they chose to. I would NEVER visit that location again! Read moreI come here more than I would like to admit. However, because of my continuous patronage I’ve noticed something I thing the owner should take notice of. You have a HIGH turnover rate. Something isn’t right even in fast food when employees aren’t staying. One thing I noticed is there is hardly ever management presence which also shows when you order and every one of the employees has to read what to put in the order. Everyone of of them! The reason I’m bringing I’m this up today is because of the bad experience I had today and there was no manager on staff only a “team leader” who didn’t know much either. I sat on the sidebar and watched my order being made and “Tomari” (I think that’s her name or something similar) was making my island chicken quesadilla. When she got to one of the items the container was empty. I watched her act like she was putting something on it but the tub was empty. She walked out back (assumed to get more) came back empty handed and proceeded to make the order with out the added item and said nothing to me or team leader. I waited and she made the whole thing with out mentioning anything to anyone. So I brought it up to the “team leader” she said they must have ran out and offered no solutions not asked what I would like to have happen. I had to tell her I don’t want the item that was made and I’d like a new one made once they have made the fresh roasted pineapple salsa. Hence the no manager presence is very important. Read moreI had to change my review which is a total bummer. I've always loved this place, always good service and quality until today. I ordered a meal with the hummus veggie bowl and smoothie. The smoothie was ready and waiting in the pickup area when I arrived at the approximate time but my food was not, so I waited in the store, figuring they just had a lot of orders to fulfill and hadn't gotten to it yet. I saw what looked like my food waiting in a bag behind the registers with a few other orders, but someone else could have ordered the same thing so I didn't ask about it. I've worked food service and retail, and not wanting to be a Karen, waited 15 minutes after my food was supposed to be done. By then I had meetings to get to, and I had no choice but to finally ask where my food was. Turns out it WAS my food behind the register, sitting there the whole 15 minutes while I was waiting by the pickup area. I still feel guilty because I grabbed it out of her hands kind of fast trying to get out of there to make it to my meeting on time. When I got back and was going to eat my food, the rice was crunchy and looked weird. I scooped out the rice and ate the rest of it and it tasted fine. A meal with smoothie and a side costs $13, so I was annoyed to have to throw a third of it away. I'm not super stoked to go back until they've trained this new person or whatever was going on.
