I have been to this KFC several times now, never having an issue until now. Whoever had been scheduled to work on the headset for drive-thru on June 22nd around 6:30pm has an attitude problem that needs to be fixed immediately. Never in my life have I had an encounter this awful in the restaurant industry. Having worked in fast-food myself, I genuinely don’t understand how this woman has not been fired. I don’t need some great greeting, and I surely dont expect it to be “fine-dining.” But the woman was incredibly disrespectful on the speaker to the point it was embarrassing. Before I ordered she stated “we only have white meat.” I could tell by the tone she was already in a bad mood. Because I have never worked in a KFC, I by accident asked for a drumstick. Rather than calmly responding, I received an overly angry comment that said “that’s dark meat!!! White meat is…” and was rambling so fast I can’t even tell you what she said. Because I genuinely had no idea what she said, I mentioned that I could hardly hear her. Instead of staying calm, she took this as a reason to start screaming through the microphone. Literally yelling, and this isn’t over exaggerated like some reviews are. Once again, I had no idea what she said because of how terrible her anger issues were. So, I left and bought my meal from another KFC because who the hell wants to receive food from people like that. We all have bad days, but this was far more than unacceptable. Read moreDrive-Through 2X CHARGE: was told my card was declined so I asked that she try again. Found out that I was charged TWICE! Called location, was given 800# to call. Response was great (within 24hrs)! A day or two after that, location manager(?) called me…said she didn’t see any double charges but would print copy of card receipt report in case my financial institution needed it to show they (KFC) didn’t 2x charge me. She gave me another 800# for “Upper Management”! Again, response was great!..they checked and found the issue was on their part, not my CU’s…she said someone will get in touch with me to issue my almost $50 refund!! No one reached out to me but after I called again, UM (Karen) read me her responding email stating I was issued a refund. I did see it while speaking to Karen. No one has issued or offered any type of an apology to me because this DOUBLE CHARGE was only discovered by me!! So, they speak nicely to me WITHOUT AN APOLOGY or even a coupon for a free drink!..for their mess-up!! Read moreUnfortunately after going to the drive-thru and spending about $35 getting home and finding out that items were missing is unacceptable. I have worked in the fast food industry for about 5 years and it is the responsibility of the person or manager in charge to make sure that all items are in the bag.
And I guess what is more infuriating is the fact that it is not just KFC that this has happened to me and unfortunately my friend did not want to double check the bag because there was a line of cars behind us and the bag was so heavy he said that everything should be in there so after driving about 15 MI or minutes I should say to get home only to find out that my biscuits were not in there.
Although they did offer and I am going to pick them up replacement biscuits it is the idea that when going to any restaurant or fast food and that is your only job please make sure that is correct.
