Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Lapeer

Been using "1lgco" code forever or years. Its a perm code. 9$ pizza or 10$ deep dish. It was even cheaper a year or so ago... Now with the detroit style deep dish, they removed standard deep dish, and raised price by 4$ giving you nothing in return forcing or trying to force their customers into this scam. They think by saying detroit style and slapping sauce on top of the pizza instead of under the cheese that means they can charge you 40% more literally for nothing. I think its time everyone stops giving them any business and lets just sit back and watch how volatile and unstable chain corporations are when they loose just a little business and essentially collapse and shut down..id rather just eat pizza from people and shops that care. This deep dish promo just appears like some sort of move just to keep them from going bankrupt or something because u cant be shadier or darker than this without being prosecuted,...

On 10/25/2015 I ordered 3 calzones and when I called to tell them they tasted nasty and there was very little ham and way to much cheese and dough was not done. they said that's the way the come and refused to do anything about it. so if I could give them a negative rating I so would. The worst experience there ever. I used to get them there for me and the kids once a month, now I dont think I will go back. And after you call them about it, the manager called me three times and told me it was my fault they tasted like trash. And proceeded to tell me I dont know how to order my food and she checked it before I got it . but here is the kicker I was standing right there and she never checked anything... And raw dough is bad for you.... So...

Little by little the quality of their product is falling. It used to be an admirable pizza with a thick, bubbly order crust and thinner center adorned with a good amount of toppings. Sadly it's become a hack job either rushed or people by care-less people. The last pizza I got, a pepperoni and mushroom with sesame seed crust, was a flat, doughy, bread-like disk with little sauce and carelessly put together. Instead of a seed crust I got seeds spread across the pizza covering the pepperoni. I requested the pizza to be well done and it wasn't resulting in a soggy bottomed Floppy mess.
