Zero stars is not an option, unfortunately. Two teenage girls. Two customers in front of us being helped by one of them. The other employee says she's going to run to the store to grab something so they don't run out of it later. I'm in the store now so I ask if we can get our sandwiches before she leaves because we have to get to an appointment. She ignores us and grabs her keys and leaves the building. The other employee appears to be new and somewhat slow but she finishes up with the first customers and starts out order. Flies are everywhere. But whatever. She makes the first part of my sandwich and starts on my daughters. The employee doesn't know what is supposed to go on this seasonal sandwich, asking my 12 year old who has never worked in a sandwich shop. My daughter thinks the sandwich expert should know what usually comes on the sandwich and is very confused. Meanwhile, the flies descend on my food. I'm done. Now is about the time the other employee comes back from 'the store'. Yep, we were still there. We get my daughters sandwich only because we have to be somewhere and I don't have time for them to remake the fly sandwich. I'm still hungry and the girl never put any dressing on my kids sandwich because the employee didn't know to put it on there and my child didn't know to ask for it. Smh gross and inefficient....

Apparently, if you're not there to actually monitor how your sandwich is made, the employees aren't capable of following directions. I have never in my life been given THREE SPINACH LEAVES for an entire 12" sandwich and been told that was the correct amount. There's a VERY SLIGHT HINT of vinaigrette (I didn't ask for a lesser amount than normal) on mine, and a SPLASH of the chipotle on my partner's (he also didn't ask for less than normal). And since the online ordering doesn't have kids' meals, but hearing isn't their strongest skill, don't expect to get one without having gone through the entire process before being told they cut the bread wrong and can't ring up the order right, despite it being their fault.

The employees clearly don't care—about the food, the customers, or the store. And honestly, that's become the standard in just about every establishment I've stepped into in Louisiana. No pride, no effort, no urgency.
Today, popcorn was all over the floor. The person in charge of it? Standing there doing nothing. The whole atmosphere is miserable. You’d be lucky to even see an employee when you walk in, let alone one who looks like they want to be...
