Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Laredo

This Dairy Queen usually has a long line in the drive thru but they do have fast service and the food is worth it. I got a chili cheese dog with onion rings. The chili cheese dog was good - lots of chili, cheese and warm. The onion rings - huge and crispy! I also ordered a churro dipped cone and OMG it was amazing!! My only mistake was ordering a small, I should have gotten a large dipped cone!

Update: I’ve gone three times in the last months and I’ve always gotten the same girl at the window. Not even a smile, a warm greet - just repeats back your order and gives you a total. When she gives you the food, no thank you, no have a nice day, just opens the window and sometimes doesn’t even looks at you and just shoves the food out the window. I know we all have had bad days at our jobs but the three times I’ve gone she’s had such a sour display. I will no longer be heading to this...

I went for the BOGO special, buy one blizzard get 2nd only 80 cents but was told they don't have the special at that location. I asked to speak with the manager just to ensure the cashier knew what they were talking about as he seemed unsure about himself. But the cashier said again we don't have that special in Texas and didn't call the manager. I later find out from another employee who I asked to call the manager that the cashier was in fact the manager. I was disappointed. Then I get my full priced blizzards to go so I walk out. As I drove away I noticed my Choco Brownie Extreme had not one piece of brownie. It was a lot of vanilla ice cream with a few small pieces of chocolate bar which does come in it but should be with brownie pieces as well as I have ordered it from other Dairy Queens before as well as there. I understand that this restaurant is a very popular place among us Laredoens, so the 40 minute wait was expected, however, to not only get the wrong blizzard, it was not turned upside down due to the fact that it was already melting. I had ordered a snicker doodle cookie dough ice cream and I received a blizzard of the month which turned out to be a heath caramel brownie. Which is fine I guess but I HATE frozen chocolate and it was hard to eat due to chocolate film residue I had to endure once the ice cream melted.
