Taco Palenque Loop 20 — Restaurant in Laredo

So I’m usually one to order online through apps and everywhere I can especially in these times. I’ve ordered at other Taco Palenque’s throughout the city and I’ve never had worse service beforehand. I drove up to the “designated ‘App Order Pickup’ parking spot” and sat in my car for 20 minutes before anyone even approached me about my online order. Until other cars and people came did they even acknowledge I was out there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since I got there early about 10 minutes from my designated pickup time, but I waited another 10 minutes still on top of my designated pick up time till someone approached me. Every other TP I’ve visited it’s less than 2-3 min. before someone comes and approaches me about my order even if I’m early. At least the acknowledgement of “hey you’re order isn’t ready yet but we got you when it’s ready”...

Do NOT order curbside or app/online order for pick up. When I arrived for my order, I parked in the “App/Online Order parking spot” and waited for 20 minutes. No one ever bothered to help me. When I called the restaurant to inform them I was waiting for my order in the parking spot, they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Eventually, they told me I needed to get down and wait for my order inside. When I asked if they could bring me my order since I had already paid for it, they said no. I then had to ask them to allow me to get my order through the drive-thru. Because they take EXTREMELY long, I waited another 30 MINUTES in drive-thru to get an order I placed for CURBSIDE. Why offer this option and have the parking spot if they are evidently not prepared to execute this type of order. NEVER ORDER FROM...

Not many people in this location so I was in and out quickly with my order. The speed at which my order was taken till the time it came out was incredible. The dining section was very well cleaned and huge. They follow the social distancing guidelines, which I love. I haven't seen the bathrooms there, but had I and they were clean, I would have rated this location a 5. I highly recommend this place. One minor detail though, if you are traveling North bound on Loop 20 you will pass this location, but don't worry, just get on the right lane and turn into Lakeside Division. Drive inside for a few yards and do a U turn and take a left at the light exiting Lakeside. Stay on the right lane and a few feet turn into Taco Palenque. It might be a hassle for those going North bound but it's worth it. Oh and the Piratas are well...
