Whispers Bar & Lounge — Restaurant in Laredo

A very nice and clean bar. When we got there the staff (Angel) immediately greeted us and gave us suggestions on what he could make for my wife since she is not a "drinker" like I am. He made her a Hurricane and she loved it. She got 2 of them. Beer was ice cold. The atmosphere was very calm and chill. We were able to talk with my friend who showed up. The music was not too loud and the DJ had a variety of music. The bathrooms were pretty clean, which is a rarity here in Laredo, let alone in a bar. The prices were about normal, not inexpensive, but by no means overpriced like other places. I got about 4 or 5 Bud Lights and the wife had 2 Hurricanes, the total was a few cents less than 32.00. I had a great time there but there were a few cons. I used to smoke a lot back in the day, but now whenever i am around smokers I feel my breath come out of me for some reason. That being said, the bar has a quaint patio set up, but smokers do gather there and since it is right in front of the entrance door, you will have to walk past very fast if you can't tolerate cigarette smoke. The other con was the musiv volume level. When we first got there it was good. When a few more patrons showed up, I assume they were pestering the DJ to change the music, so he did and raised it up higher. Normally that wouldn't bother me, as I have been to numerous concerts, but my wife, friend, and I found ourselves yelling to eah other just to talk. So we closed our tabs, left, and just continued talking in the parking lot for what seemed 30 minutes. All in all, it is an awesome place, wr would definitely go again. I recommend you do, but if you go to converse with friends you haven't seen in a long while, you better get ready to have a shouting...

I had an amazing time. Michael.. the owner.. He was cool as hell. He is very good in pool I was just having a great day that night. I met a couple of other pool sharks that night.. But they were so nice and friendly also. The bar tender was freaking awesome. The next time I'm back in Laredo I'll definitely...

I had a great time here plus I came during happy hour(s) so drinks were extremely affordable..bartender was chill managed to keep everyone full and beat me at a game of pool..my only request would be plz get better pool sticks ..other than that I'll definitely see u guys my...
