CDB's Pizza - Kobe Italian — Restaurant in Largo

Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday May 14th 2025 with my parents. We were looking for some dinner nearby the holiday inn express that we were staying at. This was within walking distance, and my dad wanted pizza, so we tried here. Note: this is also called CDB Pizza/Kobe's Italian. Basically sells pizza and Sushi and hibachi food. We arrived in the front, and someone greeted us and sat us at a booth that was actually near the bar. Server was a little slow to take our intial order, and refill waters, but she might have been the only one working in the restaurant, and we did notice that there was noise on the other side of the room, where a party was happening. However, that was okay because we also had to look over the menu options. Finally she came over, we got 3 waters and a personal pizza with sausage and brocolli. We then looked over the menu some more and decided on our entrees, which we ordered shortly after the appetizer. I ordered the Clearwater Beach Sushi Roll, my dad ordered shrimp and scallop hibachi, and my mom ordered veggie hibachi. Food came out in a timely manner- the pizza turned out really good and enjoyable- and we're from NY! I enjoyed my sushi! my parents also enjoyed their food and said that it was a good different for them. We left a cash tip, and paid via a credit card- oh and our waitress also made a mistake and said they don't charge for an extra topping on the pizza, but they did. She was polite about it and apologized though. Anyways, we enjoyed our food and it was different and may be back again if we are ever in...

This is NOT like going to the old CDB's on Westshore.. When we walked in the waitress asked me if I wanted the Hibachi table??? Huh?.. I thought this was an Italian restaurant.. First, it's so dark in there..more like a nightclub, we had to read our menu using the light from our cell phones. They have a more limited menu.. no salmon steaks. And apparently don't have any bread that 's not toasted. we asked for it plain... and then had to ask for parmesan to make a dip for our bread. The waitress seemed very confused... My husband 's steak and my pasta wasn't bad though... what I could see of it.. then when she brought us the bill, she just said..'here you go'... not.. thank you , please come see us again... -The only reason we didn't walk out in the first place was because I'd already spent $17.00 for the Groupon... however, we will...

Yes this is the same as the old CDB's in Lakeland FL, and is the same owners of the one that was in Tampa FL. If you have missed their famous Hard Hat Sandwich or there pizza, it is worth the drive to go here. We drove all the way from Plant City FL yesterday evening and they did not disappoint. The food was on point! We had a small Chef salad with their homemade Italian vinaigrette, a Hard Hat sandwich, and a small meats pizza. Everything was Great!!! If you never been here you should try it. They are basically 3 restaurants in one. They also have sushi and they have the Japanese and Vietnamese food as well with the Japanese Hibachi where they cook the food in from of you. We will definitely be...
