TL;DR: Service was all over the place, the whole vibe felt "penny-pinchy" and stingy with their stuff.
Decide to dine in, 12:30pm, still 2 hours from close. I get greeted at the door by a very friendly hostess who leads me to a booth for 1 through a very NOT busy restaurant (about 30% capacity). On the table is a bottle of ketchup, salt and pepper shaker. I find this odd as it's a breakfast place with zero sugar, jelly or syrup to be found. Neighboring tables are no different, so this is intentional.
Server 1 arrives less than a moment later to ask my drink. Coffee. 30 seconds later, I have a small cup of coffee filled about 3/4 the way up (this will be relevant), a large cup of ice water, and a small teacup plate with three creamers and a couple packets of sugar. "do you need a minute or two?" I say "yes please, thank you so much."
About 5 minutes pass. I've made my decision, menu at the end of the table sideways, and I'm now on my phone.
Server 2: "Hi there, have you decided?" I say "yes, I'll get the [doesn't matter] with toast." Great, order placed, I go back to my phone.
5-7 more minutes pass, my coffee is under half and I'm taking tiny sips because I don't know when I'm going to see my server. Only other occupied table near me hasn't seen their server this same time period either.
Nearing the bottom of the coffee cup, server 3 pops around. "Would you like more coffee?" "Yes please, thank you." Grabs pot, pours cup up to a little over half full. Ok, I've now officially gotten one cup of coffee in two separate pours and helped by three different servers.
Little while after, server 4 arrives with my food. "There you are, enjoy!" I say "thank you" as she walks off. At this moment, I realize I don't have jelly for my toast. I ALSO realize I have no idea who my actual server is, and I'm not the type to just flag down anyone for something silly as a coffee top-off or to retrieve some condiments, so I sit there, slowly picking at the food I can eat now and taking teeny tiny sips of coffee. Wouldn't have mattered if I flagged someone down or not, because...
Halfway though my meal, I finally see the first server (server 3) since I had my plate come to the neighboring table with their food (well...two of three people's food, as the third one apparently got burned and is being remade). She gets them satisfied, and swings over to me. "How are things, would you like more coffee?" I say "Yes please. Can I also get some jelly for my toast?" "Sure, would you like strawberry, mixed berries, or grape?" Ooookk... "any two is fine, thank you." "Just two, ok." I say two specifically, because I feel like I have to mention that as I feel like the penny-pinching to this point is leading me to believe that I'd only get one tiny pack for two slices of toast if I didn't say two.
A couple moments later, server 3 arrives with another teacup plate with 6 packs of jelly with assorted flavors (then why did you ask what flavor I wanted if you were going to hand me an assortment anyway?!) and tops my coffee up to about 60% full...again. "Thank you" I say, and just want to finish my meal and leave.
Anyway, I finish my meal, server 3 hands me my bill and takes away the empty plates. I tip and leave. I do also want to note that my coffee was $3.99. 4 bucks for three 1/2 cups of coffee (maybe 12oz total).
A barren table with the fewest amount of condiments on hand, a coffee that's only topped off to 3/4 volume at best, and a meal that comes with sides that are regularly paired with a condiment you have to specially ask for...for a price that feels like I should never have to go wanting at any point in my meal. It felt cheap, stingy, penny-pinchy, and deliberately designed that way. Additionally, I never had a clear grasp on who was actually taking care of me during my meal. In fact, I was never given a name by any of my servers ("hi, I'm [__] and I'll be taking care of you today") which added to the confusion and inability for me to ask for help. I won't be coming back.
Food itself was...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 10 years in both orange and Pinellas county. This by far has been the worst experience my family and I have ever had. We came in around 1:20pm for brunch and was seated not long after. There were not many customers there at this point so the waitress took our drink and food orders pretty fast. Unfortunately i did not get her name but her service wasn't the best. Upon receiving our food, two orders came to us incomplete (eggs, home fries, and bacon) and took about another 15-20 to come out. In the meantime, I noticed my food was extremely cold and then found the other orders were quite cold too. I had the banana nut caramel French toast with eggs, bacon and homefries- all completely cold. My son couldn't enjoy his burger because it was extremely cold as well and just not good at all. The other members of my family were not satisfied with the quality of their food either but were hungry and just silently ate. After another 5 mins or so, I noticed our waitress was nowhere to be found and seemed to not be coming back to check on us anytime soon so I had to find assistance from another waitress who was standing nearby. I went ahead and told her the issues hoping she would relay it back to our waitress. It took another 5-7 min for our waitress to come back to our table. She gave my husband his hot eggs and homefries, yet another side order was missing. I restated our issue and she said "sorry about that" and walked off. She then came back with a check said two of our meals were being comped and I thanked her. But she never said that my food wasn't being remade as I requested. My husband had to get up and go ask her if my food was being remade and all she said was "oh ok" as if she wasn't aware. A few minutes later, the "manager" came by and said the kitchen was closed as the food couldn't be remade then gave a very haphazard apology stating "people make mistakes" with a shrug of the shoulders. He could CLEARLY care less that we didn't receive our meal. I gave feedback on how we had been there for over an hour and was not happy at all to hear I couldn't get my food. And I also stated that though he "apologized", his tone and demeanor came off very insincere and it was clear he wasn't in the mood to make things right. I didn't ask for our meals to be free, I wanted my meal and I was very disappointed that the lack of service we received resulted in no quality food at all. At least a gift card for another meal would have sufficed as I do enjoy the food, but that clearly wasn't an option! Instead the so called franchisee was EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARGUED WITH ME! And in front of other customers! I'm appalled! He was super combative and condescending and for no reason at all. Because though I was firm with my feedback (duh I'm unhappy) I was not rude or nasty toward him UNTIL he started to insult me! I will NOT...

Incredibly, we arrived 35 minutes before closing time like other families in which people with disabilities were found and the door was closed 35 minutes before time on their website and in the advertisement on the sign in front of the premises. If your schedule changes it is fine but it is unacceptable that it is NOT updated and that several families travel there for about 20 min of travel to waste time and be treated rudely by the employee with the face of an angry dog ready to attack. This employee must not under any circumstances deal with customers her host service dampens the work of the attentive waiters. On other occasions she rolled her eyes like a spoiled girl when we requested a table, on another occasion she refused to sit in a booth because they were clean (it may be that she expected to sit in a dirty one and on another occasion she refused us to sit in a booth because they were full lying to us blatantly as if we did not see several empty booths on that occasion my husband passed over it and spoke directly with the waiter who kindly accommodated us in the requested booth that day was the second time he looked at us turning his eyes to white like a spoiled girl. I do not play with anyone's work but this person should not work directly with the public, he is extremely rude to the point that he does not even respond to good morning when we say hello, if he does not want to work I understand it should NOT be easy but we must ALL do it and we do not justify mistreating to our clients. We do NOT want to be your friends but our visit contributes to the payment of your minimum courtesy salary is what is expected for the sponsorship provided to your workplace. I do NOT expect her to be asked but manager or owners should train her properly or put her in a position where she does not deal directly with the public as a waitress NO please. We love the food in this place and the waiters have always been friendly but if you are going to visit them please go very early because the closing time is NOT clear, apparently it is not determined by the stipulations if not when the manager says it is the time to be. In shops, they usually receive until closing time. If NOT, publish it so we won't waste time and gasoline in getting to a place where they close the doors in our faces and receive us in a bad way. Awesome place! Everything is really good, food, fast and kind service, very clean place. Is my first visit I'm receive really good surprised , so you can't wait to visit and enjoy...
