I had a really high hopes for this place. I ordered a Philly cheese steak with provolone because my girlfriend is allergic to American and they literally gave her American cheese. It was not melted. It was barely any meat on it. The fries were hot, but they were very soggy and wet. We also ordered chicken tenders and he didn’t even put it on our order. We got all the way home in our son. Didn’t have any food. We tried to call back to let them know that they put American cheese which my girlfriend is allergic to When she asked for provolone and they didn’t answer the phone when we had just got off the phone less than 30 seconds ago the Philly cheesesteak was dry as hell. The only thing good was the mac & cheese and the corn bread. We spent $40 on a fried chicken meal And a Philly cheesesteak and a Kool-Aid with large french fries and that came up to over $40. That food should be a crime it's so dang good! I was told by the Owner, "all the food is good, I cooked it myself". She was not lying. She also said, "you'll be back". Girl, I am on my way!

We had collard greens, fried chicken, yams (add a touch of salt to balance sweetness), fish (Friday- Sunday), yellow rice with smoked turkey gravy, field peas and banana pudding...it feels sinful to eat such a superb soul food from anywhere else, but home! That cornbread is out of sight!

Even if you're not hungry, you want to eat something.

This is a hidden gem in Largo, Fl! I am so glad to have discovered it because I keep coming back for more! For one, all of their food is home made and what helps them stand out is how they have sweet potato pie. I tried their chicken and it tasted incomparable to other places that sell chicken! Maybe it's because I have high standards when it comes to good quality tasteful food but this is it! All the items on their menu are and I am so willing to try and look forward! They even have oxtail on Saturday specials and sides like fried okra which was delish! I have got to hand it to them for making their own kool aid and it sure is refreshing and cool and likely 100x healthier! The employees who work there are also really helpful and friendly and represent a conscious environment! Give it a try you won't regret! I sure don't!
