I was hoping this was the same as a burger place I used to go to in Santa Monica called Five Guys but unfortunately that is not so. I was very taken aback by the egregious amount of salt on the cajun fries. The fries might have been good but I couldn't tell because the fact that they're cooked in a wonderful oil is lost on the fact that they are apparently thrown straight from the fryer into a bowl completely filled with salt so that they come to you so caked with table salt that you cannot taste the Cajun seasoning that is so delicately put on them. It's so offensive that the fact that they give you extra fries doesn't matter unless you enjoy a crunched up salt lick. The burger was not as subpar. The burger itself was cooked correctly the smashed patty was kind of nice. It gave that handmade quality. The ability to create your own burger with any toppings was nice. But with a super wet liquefied bun might I suggest getting your burger with no bun and just wrapped in lettuce. I got the normal sized Burger for $13 so there was two patties but overall for the price I wouldn't do it again. Last but not least, their milkshakes. I can tell that the additive (I chose banana) was put in a vanilla shake before hand blending. But the base is premade and not that well as it was most definitely not made with ice cream and milk like a real milkshake it seems like it was made from a powdered mix much like McDonald's and the amount of sugar in the milkshake was a little intense so the banana is lost in the extreme amount of sugar in the milkshake mix. It wasn't awful and I do plan on finishing it but worth $7 it was not. So my suggestion is to find a nice sit-down restaurant to have a wonderful Burger and fries and milkshake I'm sure it will save you money as well as give you the chance to get out of the house as Five Guys is delivery only ....but with a sit down restaurant you'll get the quality and the flavor that you expect in a good burger and fries. And if your milkshake is $7 it will be completely blended by hand with more real ingredients than just a piece of banana. Ice cream, heavy cream and ice. With a few drops of real vanilla and whole fruit. Mmm even frozen fruit if you like a decadent thick shake. And if you prefer chocolate..might I suggest malted milk powder instead of choco syrup or cheap powder. .......world of...
Read moreIt's been years since I've been to Five Guys and I was very impressed today. The service from the cashier and the deliciousness of the food was on point! It was fairly "dead" when we arrived, only 1 other customer. However, by the time we got our food, there were 3 or 4 couples and they each received their food within 5-7 mins. Enough time to get your drink, hands washed and scrolling in social media for a min or 2. Food was at perfect temp, fries were fresh and nicely salted. I thought I was at a cookout with the look and size of the cheeseburger. Will...
Read moreI love your products, especially the mushroom bacon burger. It’s been a while since I visited your store and was shocked at the price increases. Ok, covid was a game changer, I get it. BUT, I couldn’t stomach how filthy the store floor was, especially under the soda station. It was gross and neglected. A member was cleaning the chairs with a cloth but come on, the floor hasn’t been cleaned in ever. It turned me off to the other habits the store practices. I have to say, no one seems to care. Bad practice imo. Just sayin’ I may not...
