This review is not about the service but about the manager and how he conducted his job interview. I had went in for an interview yesterday and (this is pertaining to the story and you will see why). As soon as I walked in there was an employee helping out customers at their table and when I walked past him he waved and said hello and I gave a quick smirk and continued to the register as I was a little on edge trying to keep positive determination for this interview since I wasn't able to get any sleep the night before. I said my hello to the employee at the register and let him know that I was there for an interview and he told me he'd bring out the manager. The manager that had came out to interview me turned out to the employee that had said hello in which I thought nothing of it because I didn't have any negative approach or anything. I'm answering the questions to the best of my ability but due to exhaustion I would stutter every now and then but pick myself back up and keep my composer well overall. As he would make good points about certain things he was also very rude. He got upset and told me that proper costumer service is important (which is true) but then proceeded to tell me that when I walked in and he said hello that I just completely ignored him. And that I was rude and that he didn't appreciate it. And while he was saying this he would say it with attitude. And that he doesn't want that kind of attitude for his customers. On top of that whenever I would try to get my answers out he would proceed to interrupt me and bring up the greeting issue again and how I was just very rude. So when he was done I had let him be aware that I wasn't trying to come off rude but that I did give a friendly smile when he said hello and that I had continued on because I was trying to focus on my determination to get through this interview well. And then he said "but you were nice and said hello to the employee at the register I find that very strange, you shouldn't be having your favorites". Then he chuckles and continues on with asking more questions regarding my resume and then brings it up again and says "it just doesn't sit right with me that you didn't give a proper hello, you could've simply just said hello I don't see how hard that is". Then when he asked about a specific job and why I had left I gave him my honest answer and mentioned a moment where the manager was teaching me how to do something and got angry and grabbed my wrist". And he says well maybe you should've payed better attention, I've worked in this industry for 30 years I know it more than you do". I don't think myself or anyone would want to work for someone with the kind of attitude and demeanor that the manager had. I advise anyone looking for work to proceed with caution. Read moreYesterday my wife and went to our local Las Cruces, NM Long John Silvers here in town. The restaurant was empty. There was two young lady's working the front counter. When we walked up one left immediately. The other ignored us completely. My wife and I both gave the greeter a greeting with a smile in hopes it would cheer up the young lady at the counter. See continued to completely ignore us and opened the till acting like she was looking for something. At that point my wife and I left, not ringing the bell. Setting in the corner was a young man who worked at the restaurant and he seemed to find this all amusing. Now I called the restaurant after calming down and was told no manager exist and one only comes in on Friday mornings, but he was sick. I will now use social media to get the word out. I dont want people like this handling my food and the local health department should get involved. The place was not clean and the large young lady behind the counter was wearing batter and food all her gown. Something is not right for a eating establishment to not be ready for a afternoon crowd. Read moreI can not believe the disrespect of this establishment! The audacity of one of the so called managers was beyond disrespectful. After getting home with our order we sat down at the table and noticed that several items were missing and some of the chicken we ordered was burnt. We called the establishment to get the missing and burnt replaced. The “manager” immediately took to defense and took no responsibility saying “I personally packed that my self and I know everything was there and nothing was burnt.” I could not believe what I was hearing. The conversation went on she would not take responsibility for anything but said we could pick up the items. After eating what we had in front of us a family member went to pick up the missing items all to be harassed by the “managers” boyfriend who was inside the restaurant.
