They gave us the order "to go" despite we were dining in so they took food out from the styrofoam boxes to reuse them, giving us the food in the trays instead. However it was the wrong sandwich and despite they saw me, no gloves of course, open the sandwich to show them it was not chicken salad ..they still served it to another customer (it was his order and he'd come in long after we had). The people at the neighboring table said they ALSO were given the wrong order and wanted the $ difference. Despite finally getting the correct sandwich after waiting for them to figure out the error, we were turned off by how they handled the situation. Finally tried the Grilled Cheese Shop. It's a little pricey and takes a little bit of time to get your order, but it is all fresh ingredients, the bacon was grilled to perfection, and it's local. The sandwich was perfect. For the cost I would have liked an included side or beverage, but I would definitely go back again for a treat. They have some creative sandwiches and if you're on a budget, some options that are a great price! I really wanted to try the tomato bisque soup, but it wasn't practical for today. I heard about this place while getting my hair cut. I have a family member who loves grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni & cheese.

Service was great and very friendly. There are many things on the menu that I want to cone back and try. Breads are fresh and have good flavor and artisan grilled cheese was quite flavorful.

I was very interested in the candied grapes but already ordered enough with a sanwhi h for each of us and their mac&cheese to share as a side. Really enjoyed this place and wish I had found it sooner. Pay attention as the soup choices change...
