If the vibrant streets of Las Vegas had a flavor, it would surely be crafted by the culinary maestros at 303 In The Cut. On the much-anticipated grand opening, we arrived at 6890 N Hualapai Way, just a stone's throw from the bustling Dutch Brothers, and found ourselves amidst a growing congregation of eager food enthusiasts. The excitement was palpable, the crowd's anticipation mirroring our own.
The food truck, a beacon of gourmet wanderlust, was swamped with the same early birds, all drawn by the siren call of "gourmet on the go". The air was alive with the scent of spices, and the sizzle from the grill was the soundtrack to our culinary pilgrimage. We had been on a quest to find a meal that wasn't just food but an experience to cherish – and 303 did not just meet but soared above our expectations.
I ventured boldly and ordered 'The Rhino'—an off-menu behemoth that married Crackin' Fried Chicken Fries with a Green Chili Burrito and crowned it with their famed Philly cheesesteak. This dish was not for the faint-hearted, nor was it for the casual diner. It was a colossus of flavor, towering over the mere mortals of regular food truck fare.
My wife, with a sweet tooth to guide her, opted for the in-house specialty, the cheesecake sandwich, 'In the Cut' style. It was a dessert that would have made the muses of sweetness weep in joy. And my friend Robert indulged in the green chili burrito, a testament to the food truck's Colorado roots, each bite filled with the warmth of home-cooked passion.
The staff was the heartbeat of the truck, offering not just meals but moments of joy with their engaging smiles and inviting energy. They were the unsung heroes, orchestrating a symphony of flavors and making sure every guest felt like part of the 303 family.
In conclusion, 303 In The Cut isn't just a food truck; it's a ticket to a journey you didn't know you needed to take. It's a place that brings friends and family together for a feast that's etched not just on your taste buds but also on your heart. So, if you're in Las Vegas and looking for a meal that will resonate long after the last bite, find your way to this culinary oasis. Trust me, you'll want to get there early; this is a flavor trip that's in...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting 303 in the Cut, and while the food was mostly enjoyable, there were a few disappointments. The burrito, unfortunately, was soggy and wet, which wasn’t what we were hoping for. On a brighter note, the dessert was fantastic! We tried the tiramisu and the crème-filled churros, and both were absolutely delicious.
However, the biggest letdown was the customer service. Both my wife and I felt unwelcome, as if we were a burden to the staff. At one point, we overheard a young lady say, "We need to close, there’s too many people," despite it only being 6:20 pm. As foodies who love trying new dining experiences, it was disappointing to feel this way, especially after driving 25 minutes each way.
While the food had its highs and lows, the lack of hospitality really overshadowed the experience for us.
Update 03/31/25: The owner reached out and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. He’s such a nice guy and he completely understands the crappie experience we originally went through. His communication was fantastic! Thank you Guiliano for a much...
Read moreWe arrived around 7:30 pm on a Wednesday. There was no line yet. We actually got there right on time because by the time we left, there was a line starting to form. We ordered the Crackin fried chicken fries, green chile burrito, love fries (secret menu), and you can't forget about the Tiramisu and cheesecake. We ended up paying a little over $90, not including tip. Pricier then I would prefer. They give pretty big, sharable portions of food. All this food we ordered was bought for 3 adults and 1 child. We could have gotten away with probably one entre and one dessert due to their serving sizes. Everything was as tasty as expected. My favorite part was the cheesecake. It was such a great combination of flavors 🤌🏻The vibe was pretty chill. Like there's no pricing on the menu. Keeps you guessing, lol jk there is on the small menu. The point is that they give a cool vibe. They went above and beyond when it came to service....
