Bambino's East Coast Pizzeria — Restaurant in Las Vegas

My 2 little girls and I were starving. I live up the street and had seen this place and have always wanted to try it. SO GLAD I DID. MY FATHER AND MOTHER AND ALL OF OUR FRIENDS AGREE THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA IVE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! theres a lot of pizza places and ways to make pizza. i have to say when i first saw the look of the pizza it didnt look bad but it didnt look how you would see pizza hut. first off the pizza is HUGE!!! one slice i was able to cut in two for my lil girls. my 3 year old never finishes a slice of pizza from dominoes or pizza hut when i have gotten pizza before. well at bambino she ate 2 slices and 3 of there awesome bread stick balls. they are awesome.i got the peperoni and sausage. when i saw the sausage i was like what the heck is that? when i ate it it was heaven. its everything that i love about sausage with out all the fatty texture. ITS REAL ITALIAN SAUSAGE!!!!! WOW WHO KNEW???????? i am 33 years old and i have to say this is honestly the best pizza i have had in my life. thats a bold statement due to the fact my mothers side of the family is all italian!!!!! they all agree as well!!!! but didnt believe me until i made them try it! we are all hooked on this place!!!! not to mention the fact that the first time i went i had my 3yr old and my 17month old. the owner,who i had no idea at the time was the owner, got my girls a sprite, on the house by the way,and grabbed a couple garlic bread balls for them to try. (they were hungry and cranky,it was almost closing time 15 min till 10pm and yet they were still friendly,pizza was freshly made and they were not like oh god we are closing in 15 min. heck no they were awesome. the cooks from the back were smiling and happy. the tall guy that took my order was a sweety. been a long time if ever that i have been treated with such respect and just like i was family and they didnt even know who i was. the owner did help me out to my car and watched to make sure we were okay until we left the parking lot. this part of town is in a great nighborhood,corner of sahara and durango,great part of summerlin,but it was still after 10pm at this point. absolutely great staff,great atmosphere and THE BEST PIZZA IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.HANDS DOWN, NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE!!!! I am a new transplant to Vegas. Since my move here in November, in the Summerlin/Spring Valley area, I have NOT found a pizza place that was actually good. This sentiment is shared by my husband who is from New York. And I'm not much of a food snob, pizza generally makes me happy. But....i had yet to eat pizza that has enough crunch throughout the crust, good sauce, and lots of oily cheese. Many pizzas I have tried have a tinny taste or used frozen ingredients bc i could taste the freezer burn flavor. I just have not yet found "good" pizza in Vegas that is reasonably priced. That is, until I visited Bambino's on Saturday 3/11/17. I searched "Pizza Restaurants" on Yelp and the reviews by New Yorkers, lured me in. It's a small hole in the wall pizza shop. They have a variety of pizzas. We had the Meat Lovers & Pizza Bianca. At first bite of the Meat Lovers pizza, i immediately noticed how good the sauce was. Usually, pizza sauce doesn't do anything for me. But the fact that I did get impressed by pizza sauce alone, meant something. The dough was thin and crispy. There was so much cheese that it was separating from the crust and toppings were sliding off when i folded the slice in half. This pizza was EXACTLY what I have been searching for in Las Vegas. The crust had the perfect burn marks (not blackened, but brown and toasty) which tasted amazing!!!! The Bianca was delicious too, with pure garlic, mozzarella cheese and Ricotta balls. Hands down not only the best NY style pizza place in Vegas, they are by far the champions of customer service. Bambino's really knows how to keep a customer and make things right, even after a terrible experience that they had NO part in and was under no obligation to fix. Having placed an order with them via DoorDash, I was left waiting for my order for nearly 2 hours. While DoorDash kept me on hold with no answer for nearly an hour, I called Bambino's directly with the initial intent to beg them to cancel my order on their end, as Doordash had failed in every way and already took the money for the order. I was put on with the owner and she not only apologized but had informed me they too were on hold with DoorDash for over an hour, watching my food go cold. She offered to remake all of my items and deliver it herself and she did. My only regret is that my young sibling answered the door instead of me, she even explained that we could cancel out the order from DoorDash for a full refund. This meant that she not only delivered the meal herself but essentially took the entire cost of re-making it a second time. This was not Bambino's problem to fix but they did and have retained a customer for life. I frequently go inside with my younger brother and will simply directly order from them in the future.
