To begin I'd like to say that I m a regular customer at churches. I love great customer service and I'm never afraid to share a great experience however, in this case I regret to have to share a terrible experience that I had today at churches located on Charleston Boulevard 4851 that is. I have never had someone be so rude and impatient while assisting a customer and taking their order. I really felt disrespected, rushed and unappreciated by a representative by the name of Yancey. He is very rude and undeserving of such a position. He yelled at me stating that customers are not always right when I told him that I always get a dipping sauce free of charge when I order chicken tenders after he tells me that I have to pay 25 cents for a BBQ sauce. Not only that but when I told him that my jalapeno was missing from my order a proceeded to hand me the unwrapped/unpackaged jalapeno out the drive thru window with his glove only!!!! this is not the first time that I have had a terrible experience at this location with the exact same representative but this will be the first time that I'm actually voicing it and I want everybody to know what's going on at this location with this employee Yancey!!! My mother and husband have also had to deal with this employee and his terrible attitude and customer service. Obviously Yancey does not like his place of employment and does not care about customer satisfaction because if he did he would work there with a smile. he has terrible customer service skills and he doesn't care to better himself nor does he care that he is the face of the company from a customer's perspective. This employee and his customer service is not a good look for churches. someone should have told Yancey that churches is about good customer service and great experiences because obviously to him it doesn't matter. I wouldn't have this type of employee that doesn't care about customer satisfaction be the face of my...
Read moreI just left this location and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered fried okra and six jalapeño poppers. Despite there being no line, I waited nearly 10 minutes in the drive-thru. When I asked for dipping sauce for my poppers at the window, the man working—who I believe was Hispanic—gave me unnecessary attitude. He stated that the poppers didn’t come with sauce and that he was giving it as a “courtesy.” That wasn’t the issue—I would’ve gladly paid for the sauce if needed. The issue was the dismissive tone.
To make matters worse, the okra was far from fresh. It was greasy, overcooked, and tasted burnt. I tried to eat them, but some were so bad I had to spit them out. Then, when I went to eat my poppers, there were only FOUR in the bag—when I paid for SIX.
This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I expect better service, accurate orders, and fresh food—especially when I’m paying for it. Very...
Read moreOut of some food items in the middle of the day. The food wasn't terribly good. This is the first time I've ever met a Mac n' Chesse I didn't like. Well, I found one now. That was disappointing. And the chicken fingers a purchased were quite small, but the breading was crunchy. The chicken was spiced nicely, and it was pretty decent overall. It was a little dry, I assume from sitting under the warming lights too long. Overall, a slightly less than 3 star experience and food. Decent meal but not a "bargin," price-wise, as the quality of the food might lead you to believe. Meaning, yes. A bit over-priced for what I got. Biscuits were HEAVENLY!! Always buy extras! Well worth their price and a fine reason to go here, even moreso than the chicken! Staff was very friendly and efficient. Overall and all things considered, a...
