The Hideaway Tavern — Restaurant in Las Vegas

So what should I say…. I think the title should be greatly disappointed! My family has been coming here for years, my coworkers and I have enjoyed this place over the years. So much so that we have had several holiday parties here….well those days are no longer, with the change in ownership the service has straight tanked.

The food is still good, and yes they have raised their prices but I would have hoped the service would have remained the same.

This was such a sad experience, that I will not go back again.

Couldn’t find a way to respond to the owner. .. There was no server, only a male bartender. I do not believe he introduced himself.

So that way you can better address the matter here is everything that happened.

Ordered bacon wrapped jalapeños, the beast and buffalo chicken wrap for my wife. We literally waited 35 minutes for the food. The main entrees came out, and when asked about the jalapeños he said “I’m sorry I didn’t hit save.” He delivered the entrees without napkins, salt/pepper or ketchup. When asked for a knife and a fork, he said he’d be back and never returned with said items. When the cook came out with the jalapeños I had to ask him for a knife and fork and he returned shortly.

So about the jalapeños, since the bartender failed to order them correctly he should have asked us if we wanted them and apologized for his error. Also since he failed to order them, and then failed to ask us if we still wanted them, they should have been comped.

It is very frustrating as I once loved this place so much that my wife and I would eat here several...

It's a typical bar menu, but the dishes are surprisingly fresh and well made. I consider it a bargain since the prices are about 20% lower than surrounding bars. You might think it's a bit sparse, but it is a welcoming and friendly place. The staff were quick and on the job. Beers are pretty much run of the mill domestic, but the prices are much cheaper than other restaurants. If you're into line dancing (I am not), this seems to be the place. It doesn't have that quasi-nightclub feel of some of the bigger, corporate country bars. Just a dance floor and some very welcome bands. Bar patrons were friendly too! They tell me the place has a new owner, and she has been working hard to broaden the menu, clientele, and music offerings. If this is the case, go here! They deserve to succeed, and this place would be missed were it to close.

I can't believe I have never been there before I. LOVED IT it's humongous the food looked and smelled AMAZING definetly going back to try it I'm sure it is as great as it appeared..The sound was also great for such a big place it had really good sound the band's were awesome they said it's normally a Country music bar which is cool but not really my forte but I don't mind it at all but the night I went they had punk rock band and unless you have good sound punk rock can sound just like bad static. But it was great very clear and rich and man if you were allowed to still have mosh pits that wuld be a great place to have one it's freaking huge but I guess those days are no longer. Anyways back to the point HIDEAWAYS IS BAD ASS I loved it and I suggest if you like good food music and not so into feeling like you are in a Sardine can check this place...
