On the afternoon of July 10, 2024, at approximately 5:57 PM, I proceeded to the Jollibee drive-thru and placed an order for the New Bucket Treat D. This particular offering consists of 12 pieces of mixed thighs and legs fried chicken, 2 large gravies, mashed potatoes, 2 peach mango pies, and 3 ube pies. The attendant who managed my order, Steven, displayed a lack of enthusiasm and appeared disinterested throughout the transaction.
Later that evening, during our dinner, my family and I encountered several issues with the food. To our surprise, one of the ube pies had an unexpected fishy taste, suggestive of potential cross-contamination from a shared fryer, despite fish not being among Jollibee's offerings. Additionally, the rice exhibited an unusual aftertaste, hinting at possible reheating. Furthermore, the fried chicken appeared darker than usual, prompting concerns that the frying oil might not have been replaced for an extended period, potentially infringing upon food and health safety regulations.
It is essential for proprietors and management of dining establishments to prioritize strict adherence to food and health safety protocols. The provision of expired or compromised food poses a substantial health risk to consumers and can result in foodborne ailments. The conceivable use of a single frying station for various food items is disquieting and has the potential to jeopardize food safety. Ensuring the rigorous implementation of proper food handling procedures is pivotal in safeguarding the welfare of consumers.

I was hoping for a smooth and efficient experience when I arrived to pick up my online food order, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. Despite the fact that there were eight staff members present in the back, only one register was open to serve the growing number of customers. It was frustrating to see the female manager fail to take any action to expedite the line and open additional registers. There was a sign indicating that online orders could be picked up, but it was not being utilized effectively. The managers on duty seemed unorganized and not equipped to deliver a positive experience for customers. Their lack of hospitality was evident in their inability to greet and thank customers, and their sour expressions. Furthermore, I noticed that the tables were not properly wiped or sanitized, and the floor was dirty, indicating that the managers are not emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and good customer service to their staff. All in all, it was a disappointing experience that left me feeling undervalued as a customer.
Regrettably, on the evening of July 09, 2023, between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm, my experience at Jollibee left much to be desired.
Despite being in line, both cashiers seemed uninterested in assisting me, not even bothering to greet me or express any sense of urgency. It was only after I spoke up that they took notice and began to attend to me. Meanwhile, supervisors were occupied with their phones, paying little attention to the goings-on around them.
Upon returning home, I was disappointed to find that the chicken I had purchased was not cooked thoroughly, still raw on the inside. Additionally, the gravy or dipping sauce lacked flavor and was too watery. I brought my concerns to Sam, the supervisor on duty. However, his tone suggested that he wasn't interested in hearing my complaints and kept interrupting me by asking if there was anything else he could do. This response was not in line with Jollibee's promise to provide excellent customer service and immediate resolution to issues.
I must say that Sam lacked leadership skills and didn't seem to know how to handle such circumstances. He failed to offer any apologies or take responsibility to make things right.
In conclusion, I believe that all Jollibee supervisors must undergo proper training to ensure that they uphold the restaurant's standards and deliver exceptional customer service to...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Jollibee, and the experience brought me right back to the Philippines with just one bite! I ordered the 2-piece Spicy Chickenjoy* , fries, and paired it with the Pineapple Quencher drink, and let me tell you—it was a flavor explosion that truly felt like a taste of home.
Starting with the Spicy Chickenjoy, it was absolutely perfect. The crispy, golden coating had just the right amount of crunch, and as soon as I bit into it, I was greeted with that signature Jollibee spice. It wasn’t just spicy for the sake of being hot—it was packed with flavor, with a kick that lingered just enough to keep me reaching for the next bite. The chicken itself was juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. Each piece was generous in size and seasoned all the way through, which is something not every fast-food place can nail. This is exactly how I remember the Chickenjoy from my childhood in the Philippines—comforting, flavorful, and satisfying.
The fries were a delightful sidekick to the chicken. They were crisp, golden, and had the perfect amount of salt to balance the meal. Each fry had that satisfying crunch with a soft inside—great for dipping into the gravy that comes with the Chickenjoy!
Now, the Pineapple Quencher—wow! This drink was the perfect complement to the spicy chicken. Refreshingly sweet with a slight tang, it instantly transported me to warm, tropical days in the Philippines. The pineapple flavor was rich and authentic, not too sugary, and it really helped cool down the heat from the Chickenjoy. It was like drinking a bit of sunshine in a cup.
The entire meal left me feeling nostalgic, satisfied, and so happy that Jollibee continues to deliver such an authentic experience. For anyone missing the taste of home or even just looking for a uniquely flavorful fast-food experience, Jollibee is a must. It’s as close as I can get to the homeland, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
10/10 would recommend for anyone craving that familiar Filipino flavor or looking to try something new...
Read moreThe short version of this review is that this location is inferior to the other Vegas locations and you should go to one of them instead.
As a loyal fan of Jollibee who usually goes to the Maryland Parkway location, I decided to try this one since it is closer to the new office building I’ll be at. I won’t be returning here as nearly every part of my experience was notably inferior to what I’m used to from Jollibee.
First I placed an online order to be picked up at 4:30, and placed that order around 3:30. Having done this many times before I was not concerned until I got there a few minutes early and saw my food was already ready to be picked up. Usually I’d wait a minute and let them know I was here for my order and they’d pack it then. Instead I got food that seemed like it had been sitting out for awhile, probably close to an hour if they made it right when I ordered it. The chicken, gravy, and pie were all at room temperature or slightly above.
My chicken was odd since I got one thigh that was narrow enough to look like a rectangular drumstick without a bone only end. I don’t know if it was butchered wrong or what, but this was a bizarrely shaped piece of chicken. The skin wasn’t crispy any more but the meat was at least juicy and spicy still.
Lastly was the peach mango pie which I’ve seen other people complain about at this location too. As a regular order for me, I’m used to these filling out most of the width of the sleeve and almost the entire length so that when you open the sleeve you see the pie filling it up. Instead this pie only took up around 2/3 of the space of the sleeve and looked very small inside. It had also cooled entirely when I ate it and the filling seemed very runny and gloopy.
I really wish this location was consistent with the other Jollibees as it would be very convenient for me for lunch or after work, but I’ll be avoiding it...
