My son and I leave around the area ,and our restaurant is applebees, but since it is a steak house, my son loves steak,so we came here , and honestly, even though we were ready to spend money ,because we love to eat ,we don't care the price, to strart with ,so he ordered a Ribeye medium rare, and I order Caesar salad, and Kingsland pasta, loaded baked potatoes, well here is how everything went, my Kingsland pasta ,wasn't to bad ,i asked for welldone meat ,the plate has alfredo pasta 4 grill srimps and grill steak, i asked for welldone steak, well it wasn't cook proper either, it was red in the middle of the pieces and ,burned and dried, some end parts, and it was salty i had to drink a lot of water just to wash it off ,the bake potatoes they were cold, but not to bad ,I love baked potatoes, but it have to be hot, but, not dried and cold, because you'll see the butter and sour cream melting, then the saesar, salad, it was a bad idea,I love saesar salad and it always has been my favorite, so after here I guess not anymore, so please don't order it here try something else, just for the experience, my son's steak it was very raw as soonest he got the plate he said ,this is not my steak it doesn't looke like my 15oz, steak and as soonest he start to cut it the meat is red and very goohy and soft, and he kept os saying this is someone else food, and so we called our waiter, he came and nicely he asked us if he can take it back to the kitchen and have it cooked little more ,which my son agreed, some time later the manager brought it back ,and she asked him to check if it was the way he asked to be cook, but in the way of ,asking was ,like reprimending him for asking to getting it cook more ,my son said ,of course I will say I am ok after the way she came to the table, this was on May 15th a day after mother's day, after 630 pm,on rainbow and lake mead, and the meat wasn't very good ,he left almost the half of the portion of the meat, for the fact that it wasn't cooked properly and it was fatty, chewy some parts were good some not,I was going to take picture, but I figured some people will be disgusted to see it,anyway, we don't mind paying, for the experience ,we'll this is my 2 cents of my opinion ,and this is what I doo ,we shop visit and experience service and food, and I don't think we will go back, at least here again, we might try another locations, other then that ,the waiter was good nice...
Read moreI took my date for dinner because we both like steak and I hadn't tried this Outback yet. I always enjoyed Outback in Prescott, AZ with their reasonable prices and quality steaks when I lived in a nearby town and had lots of gigs & students when I lived there. But then Outback in Prescott closed a few years ago. Then when the pandemic hit, practically every-thing in Vegas shut down so I had to wait over a year to try them out. It was busy, very busy. They seated us right away. The server was very friendly, extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Gave great service. They still had the Bloomin' Onion which my date was excited about. Greasy but she loved it. She had the Filet Mignon. I thought it looked flat and was a little over cooked. Not the thick kind of filet I would have expected. But she said it was delicious. I had the 9 0z Top Sirloin (more like 10oz). I ordered medium rare. It came med. well. So I sent it back which I'm not in the habit of doing. It was no problem. The server handled it professionally and before too long a new one appeared with another side of fries and it was tender, juicy and perfect. All in all, as busy as it was they were well staffed and everyone went out of their way to please us and make us happy. But I probably won't be headin' back there anytime soon cuz since the pandemic their prices have increased significantly. I had a $25.00 gift certificate I received at Christmas last year which was the impetus I needed to go there. With the Filet Mignon, Top Sirloin, Bloomin Onion, a couple of glasses of wine & and iced tea the bill came to $88.00. And that was before the $15.00 tip. So for over $100 bucks that's maybe a once a month dinner out and Outback is far from a fancy restaurant. But if you want a top quality steak dinner and great service by servers who aren't constantly trying to upsell you and you don't mind the high prices,...
Read moreI LITERALLY owe my life to our server Paola tonight! I ordered the Seared Ahi and forgot to mention a food allergy. I asked about the sauce and sent it back. In a literal split second she came running back snatching my food back. She apologized then stated the Ahi was drizzled in the same allergen! She saved me at the very least an $800 ER copay. Thankfully, I always have an Epipen. I felt horrible cause I'm usually so careful and cautious. She saved me on the one night I was a space cadet! I felt terrible cause she dumped the sauce in Marco's hands to come save me in the knick of time. He'd been bussing tables, cleaning, and also busting his a$$ since we walked in. Liz was the hostess who'd seated us and made it a point to thank my husband for his service (she'd spotted my husband's Disabled Veteran ball cap). From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, our service was NEXT LEVEL EXCEPTIONAL. This is coming from someone who's worked in the service industry off and on for 25+ years. It was such a moving and worthwhile experience that I felt it'd be remiss to not ask to give kudos to their manager, Trisha, who was BTW equally professional and responsive. The only thing I regret is not asking the names of who'd cooked our food and who made my smokey pecan old fashioned because it was all exceptional. I believe the cook was the tall slender man with dark hair I saw pass by a couple times. And the bartender was a woman. I'm serious y'all! It was the best experience we've had in so very long! And I dodged a trip to the ER on top of it all! Thank...
