We came here twice while visiting Vegas this summer. Our server was the sweetest person, and gave us amazing suggestions, and was just so welcoming. We ended up getting short rib fried rice, three color curry, and waterfall beef. I have never had a fried rice so delicious before in my life. My boyfriend liked it so much he was using the serving spoon to eat 🤣

So, unsurprisingly, we decided to come back and try the awesome flat noodle and mango sticky rice, some of her other suggestions. The service was night and day. The restaurant was empty, save for two other tables already finishing the end of their meals. We got sat, and a few minutes later another party of two came in. The server came up to them, got their drink order, made a Thai coffee, came back and took their food order, and put it in. I set a timer at this point. It took over 12 minutes for him to come over to us. The other table got their food before we got two glasses of water, and we had gotten there a few minutes before them. Really strange.. especially considering he was the server for both tables. There were maybe three other servers in the restaurant (more servers than guests in the restaurant), and they didn’t seem to be occupied with much. The awesome flat noodle was amazing, as were the Thai style wings. The tom yum was o.k. Nothing to write home about.

Given the service and experience the second night, I don’t know if I would come back. Or maybe just don’t come on Monday night? He was nice, don’t get me wrong, but it was just a really weird and unwelcoming experience the second time. There are so many good food spots in Vegas, I’d probably just try eating somewhere else than risk having a repeat of...

We were in town vacationing, after reading excellent reviews, we decided to have our final meal with Le Thai. Upon entry, we noticed restaurant of quaint space decorated in a very welcoming and earthy way. Having been to Thailand, we were quite knowledgeable of the cuisine and excited for the culinary journey! Our server, Ellie (Sp), was amazingly pleasant and had a such a beautiful energy, to add to being highly attentive and gave us excellent recommendations.

The issue begins when the food runner brought our appetizer, but forgot appetizer plates. Always fun to sit and look at appetizers, waiting for plates. Maybe it was too much for her to carry.

Upon her return with our plates, I requested chili garlic sauce. This girl looked at me and smirked saying that they did not have “garlic chili sauce!” The way she looked at me, so disrespectful , smirking and walking away from our table when I was talking to her was incredibly rude. My daughter and I both just sat there in complete awe, that this person treated us in the disrespectful manner that she did. Her tone was highly condescending, and her smirk, which befuddles me, as I clearly was correct in naming the popular Thai sauce, and she who works there who was completely illiterate of this culinary staple of Thai food.

Le Thai- please educate your workers of basic Thai foods and Thai staples, so that the next guest doesn’t experience what endured. Ignorance at its finest

Really could not expound further on the food, once the incompetent food runner girl...

Food was very good and came out hot. We got the lunch specials and the price was great for the food quality and amount. We ordered the massaman curry and mixed vegetable stir fry. The reason for knocking off a star is the dining area is a little chaotic. It is small and was confusing at first when no one came to take our order while we watched several people complete orders at the front before finally asking if we could just order at the counter. They told us we had to wait for the server to place our order, however we watched someone come in after us and order at the counter and then sit and dine in and their food came out before ours. Another couple that came in well after us got their order placed at the same time and food brought out before us as well. Server was fine, wasn’t overly friendly and just seemed to want to get us taken care of so she could move on. The food did come out fairly quickly, but since it took a while for someone to come take our order we didn’t have tons of time to eat and had to eat very quickly once the food came. We didn’t have anywhere to eat except our car so we had to dine in. Would recommend for take out, but not for dine-in unless you have...

Typing this in the parking lot. Ordered to go, but we saw there’s room to sit in the restaurant only 20% occupancy. They said yes, so we left a 35% tip because we understood that this was a little inconvenient. As We were about to sit, we were told no we cannot dine in, AFTER we left that tip. I will comment that the workers said they did want to let us in, but it’s “owner’s rules” . Super annoyed. Oh and our To Go bag didn’t have any cutlery. Food review: Doing a fair review on the food as well. The food itself was okay. The place is overhyped by the locals, We ordered the pork belly, wings and the short rib fried rice. The pork belly was pretty good, it wasn’t quite the best tender/ crispy ratio I was expecting due to the hype I received from the locals. Wings had a good flavor but again the texture was lacking .. (think Buffalo Wild Wings ) Fried rice had a nice flavor and good balance, it does lack “umami” flavor that plenty Asian fried rice delivers. TL;DR food 3/5

Poorly trained wait staff. Was eating the delicious waterfall beef and about halfway done when they came out with the entrees. The appetizer needs to be finished before you bring the next course. That is a sign of poor training and wait staff who I guess never ate out before. This happens a lot in Thai restaurants. Another problem is they jam in too many tables on the southside of the restaurant against the wall. The tables are way too close to one another. When I wanted to take the rest of my food home they dropped of containers and one plastic bag for two people. The waitress then came back with larger containers. How about you take the food to the kitchen area and put it the right size containers for me? It's nearly impossible to put rice into a to go container with a fork. The table was way too small for 2 entrees, an appetizer, 2 small dishes, drinks, and numerous containers.
