Most, if not all people that know me, understand that I'm not a big fan of any specialty diets or foods that are prepared in a manner outside of the conventional ways that the majority of people were accustomed to for years. It wasn't until the birth of my wonderful daughter where I understood the need for certain dietary restrictions due to medical reasons (food allergies). Nowadays, there are so many different variations of preparing food to which it's a new way of life for some folks. Although, there's no requirement for me to restrict my diet to sugar and/or gluten-free food, I did want to try this place because: (1) I'm always open to trying new places in general - I like to experience different ways to enjoy food (and see what all the hype is about for certain places); and (2) my family was gifted a free latte and cookie by our amazing Realtor (and friend).

My wife and I finally decided to visit this "Parlor" on 23 Feb 2024, mainly because our free gifts were going to expire. But let me tell you...this place was amazing! When you first walk in, you're hit with a blast from the past dating back circa 1950s. You can't help but look around at the shop's intricate décor and just feel relaxed and happy. We were greeted so nicely by I believe the Parlor's owner (based on the business' website). She also explained everything in fine detail to include the 5 W's (who, what, when, where, and why), which was highly appreciated for us new customers.

We ordered the Cinnful Churro with Almond Milk, Cupid's Victim with Oat Milk, Grandma's Banana Bread, and Peanut Butter Cookie. As you can probably tell by the attached photos, the drinks were magnificent - it tasted as good as it looked! I'd be lying if I didn't say that the food items were different from what I'm accustomed to; however, that's not in a bad way either. Just because something is different, doesn't mean it's bad. The peanut butter cookie had a unique texture and the flavor profile was extraordinary. The banana bread was good; I'd unequivocally purchase it again down the road.

Overall, I enjoyed our first experience here. I am highly interested in the rest of their menu items and will have to return in the near future to try them - I'll be sure to update my review after that experience. This place was slightly challenging to get to with all the road construction and traffic, but it's not a nightmare either. If you're a local, you definitely need to try this place. If you're visiting and especially if you're staying on the Las Vegas strip, I highly recommend you grab a ride share and head to this Parlor. As a Las Vegas local, I'm always appreciative of all the small businesses in the city/valley. It's unfortunate that this place is far away from our house (we live in the Northwest part of the city), but we'll try our best to revisit soon. Thanks, Starburst Parlor for the exquisite,...

I honestly have not even tried the food I bought from this place as they cook with things I’m allergic to but it was bought as gifts for my husband who isn’t home from work yet, so I’m not concerned allergy wise. The food itself looks amazing. The place is well decorated.

What I have an issue with is the customer service. I brought my two year old son inside who had his tablet and was happily playing with it in a corner when he noticed a jukebox. The woman behind the counter who I am assuming is the owner was dealing with me trying to pick out the pastries for him and told me the jukebox was delicate. No issue, I grabbed my son and brought him over so he couldn’t touch it anymore. However he got squirmy and slightly loud which is when I noticed a sign that mentioned something about small children and if they’re loud to take them outside. Obviously in the middle of a breakdown for a two year old with special needs your focus isn’t the best to read the entire sign to know what it says verbatim. There were no other guests and I needed to pay so I just held him till I could finish. Except the woman walked away as I was trying to calm my son down so I could and someone else had to take over the transaction.

Never in my life have I felt like I was so unwanted in an establishment that has seating inside for people to enjoy their snacks. Again, I’m allergic so I wouldn’t have stayed but for others with children I just want you to be cautious because you know as well as I do that meltdowns happen and sometimes they just can’t be helped. Add a child with special needs on top of it and they really are harder to deal with.

I hope that my husband likes the treats but unless it’s a special occasion I will not be frequenting this bakery and honestly he might have to by himself next time if he wants something again. Or I will figure out how to make...

YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE!! A friend told me to try this place since I have been on the keto diet and was burnt out from eggs, chicken etc. First off the 50's throwback decor is awesome, the customer service and the employees that work their are super friendly and have a cool style of their own. So I tried the Pepperoni Pizza and got a cookie and the blueberry cheesecake to take home for later. HOLY S*#T!! The pizza was unbelievable. It's a personal size but the flavor is out of this world. Maybe it's the fresh ingredients but I was expecting a more bland pizza since it's low-carb. But Honestly it was probably one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten the cheese was melted perfect with a slight carmelization on the top the crust was crispy like a focaccia bread, the sauce was a bit sweet and the pepperoni just tasted really good you could taste different spices. I feel weird talking about an 8 inch pizza like it was rare steak dinner but it truly was delicious. So much I went back today and got another to bring home to the Family. And both my Wife and Son loved it too and said it just tasted fresh and different then other pizzas. Now the blueberry cheesecake was delicious not overbearing with sweetness and a great flavor with the blueberries in it. I'm working over on this side of town for the next month and this will be a regular go to for sure. The price was fair considering the type of fresh, non-proccessed ingredients they use and the fact that it's made fresh daily. Thank you guys for everything this is a...

I tried this bakery in an effort to find bakery goods that didn't contain sugar or added sugar. This bakery specializes in baked goods and foods created without using cane sugar. They use Allulose and Stevia and other natural sweeteners. I tried the waffle, egg and turkey bacon with cheese, the Unicorn Blood tea (contained Elderberry, and hibiscus) with whipped cream an old almond milk, the Red Velvet cupcake and a Chocolate chip cookie topped with pistachio. When I say I have found my new bakery, I truly mean it! If you're a first-timer, they take the time to make sure you know about their products and how they are made. They also ask if you have any allergies, just in case you may have a nit allergy or any other food type of allergy. They made me feel very welcomed and didn't rush you to make a selection. It was a refreshing experience. They also serve ice cream, but it's not made with sugar. I tried some, and it was delicious as well. I really don't think you can make a bad choice from anything on their menu. It's a unique bakery, with a very retro style, and I love it! If you're looking for a different kind of bakery or want to avoid sugar, this is an excellent choice! I'm certainly going back!

Our final stop before heading to the airport was the keto-focused, gluten free, and sugar free bakery know as Starbust Parlor. I don’t even know where to begin with how joyful this experience was, but the owner and her son were present and treated us to some of the story behind their bakery as well as their love for the mid-century era aesthetic. Beyond the excellent customer was the introduction their highly caffeinated, and flavorful, cold brew and their everything bagel breakfast sandwich. Sadly, I don’t have the coldbrew pictured as i inhaled it and proceeded to run a mile at hyper speed

..be ready for a jolt! As for the breakfast sandwich we ended up ordering two! They were that good! Finally, I perused some of the pins they had on hand as that is a new craze for me; various enamel pins on denim vests / jackets. They featured enamel pins from a local artist, Battleborn, and I ended up buying a couple as well as a pin with the bakery’s logo on it. This is a must visit location when you’re in Vegas; not just for the quality of food, for but for the awesomely genuine folks behind the counter baking up all the goods! Thank you both, I hope we can return soon!
