I would have given this venue zero stars if it allowed me. Let me start by saying that NOBODY should ever be treated the way myself and my team were treated by Jonathan Warren. He was the most disrespectful human I have ever come across in my years in the industry. We helped source this venue for a client, but the venue was booked and paid directly by the client (unlike what Jonathan says). I was in charge of all of our vendors bringing in decor/furniture into the venue. I tried multiple times to contact Jonathan, but as he told me onsite "we are busy and aren't phone people". I never once saw the terms he is referring to, otherwise I would have gladly followed every term as we do with all venues. His communication was horrible from the start and as we all know communication can lead to a disaster. Well arriving onsite, Jonathan had not removed any of the decor promised to our clients on the 2 walkthroughs we did. He denied it and played dumb saying the conversations never happened. When I explained how important this event was to the client and that we needed to make something happen and work together he got in my face and screamed at me (multiple times this day). One time he slammed his hands on the table yelling "LISTEN TO ME, I AM IN CHARGE". Another time he got in my face and yelled that he wasn't doing anything he told the clients he would do and if I didn't like it I could take the money and get the hell out. As this was an important event, I remained calm. He eventually worked with me and removed the items we spoke about (and acted completely nice and calm). When our bus arrived, he got in my staff's face and started screaming at her about the size of the vehicle. The information he "claims" I have is nowhere to be found and he cannot provide any evidence that he ever gave me this either. Towards the end of our event, I found him outside screaming at my catering vendor and in his face. I walked up to see what the issue was and try to help resolve it. He then started screaming at me that we could not remove the catering equipment (dirty dishes and glassware from the house) until the next day. I explained that his team had given me permission to do this, but that all other vendors would not load out until the time he gave me the following day (side note, it took about 6 emails before he would even give me the load out time). He got inches from my face screaming at me "who did you get permission from?" "it wasn't me and I run this place" I explained that I tried to contact him and schedule a call many times but that his staff Cynthia (who was so incredibly sweet and apologetic) confirmed this. He started screaming at me to move the truck and get in and move it NOW. I told him it was not my truck and I couldn't move it. I remained calm as he stood screaming with spit flying in my face. I nicely said "please get out of my face, that is so disrespectful". Clearly, this was the wrong thing to say to this man because he REALLY lost it at that point. He put his finger in my face and got closer to my face until his nose touched my nose screaming "I WILL GET IN YOUR FACE IF I WANT TO" "GET OFF MY PROPERTY NOW" "SECURITY REMOVE HER NOW". Security stood there as they had just witnessed the entire thing and seemed just as confused as I was. I explained that all of my belongings were inside and that I was in charge of making sure the event and load out went as planned. He refused to let me inside to get my purse, keys or any of my own property. So I did not put up a fight and walked off property, to the street in the pouring rain and storm we were having. He called other security guards to all gates to ensure I did not step foot on his property. One security guard even went as far to come out and take off his jacket and make sure I saw his gun on his hip. I coordinated loading out and getting my belongings back with my team. While inside he got in 2 of my other staff's faces as well. It is sickening to know this man gets away with treating people this way & doing...
Read moreBy far the most unprofessionally ran venue. Johnathan Warran is clearly either bi-polar or just a man just abusing his position of "power" by demeaning women. Our company hosted an event here for our client who spent thousands of dollars to be there under the impression that a few decor pieces would be removed for the day of the event. There were 2 walk through visits in which all was discussed. The day of Johnathan stated that it was "His house" and he was the "boss" for the day and what he said went and he wasn't moving a thing. Mind you the pieces we were discussing were synthetic floral arrangements that did not match the theme. His irrational behavior had his staff wondering in fear and coming to apologize to us under their breaths so that he would not hear them It was unreal. He later got in my co-workers face telling her to "take back the money and get the hell out!" Mind you the contracts were paid for by the client and the funds go to a non-profit organization, the Liberace Foundation. Whoever is Johnathan's boss need to understand the man he has operating this estate is a loose cannon who is single-handedly throwing this business into the ground. As one of the Largest DMC's in the country, rest assured we will not only NEVER do business with them again but neither will any of the vendors who were there and witnessed this man in action. Word in this town spreads like wildfire and this business set itself aflame! As a follow up, I was on site and witnessed Johnathan in action. In addition two of our vendors have stated they will also be filing a report against him and will no longer do business with them nor return based on HIS actions to our...
Read moreI visited this place because I’ve been wanting to see the inside since Michael Jackson died in 2009 and when I learned that there was a Liberace museum I saw an opportunity to get the best of both worlds. The tour guide, Jonathan Warren, was amazingly knowledgeable about all things Liberace, Michael Jackson and others and I learned a lot from his expertise. He was very polite and friendly and made us feel welcome and right at home. You will see a lot and learn a lot along the way! The tour did not disappoint! A must do for Liberace and Michael...
