Los Huicholes — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Seriously?? This place is terrible! I don’t even know where to start. The food quality is sub adequate at best.

The chimichanga tortilla was so hard that it couldn’t even be cut with a knife. The meat in the Gordo burrito was hard and not fresh, it was supposed to be Carnitas and El Pastor,, the el pastor was in chunks that were dry and tasted like old meat.

The Fish and Chips are a joke! The fish was nothing but frozen fish patties that you could by in any frozen food section.

The retried beans were like bean soup instead of retried beans. The tortilla chips that came with the food were not crispy, they were stale and cold.

Overall this was not a good experience and was definitely not worth the $115 that we spent of the order.

In addition the delivery service driver got lost and caused the food temperature to be unacceptable, although this was not the fault of the restaurant, still the quality of the food was, sub adequate at best.

UPDATE! 5/13/25 2 years later and our family is still only ordering Mexican food from Los Huicholes. As a matter of fact, I've had their breakfast menu & their American menu. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the Italian menu. We placed a large order on 4/25/25 for my son's birthday. The order was 100% correct and super delicious as usual. Trust me when I say you can't go wrong no matter what you order. My son and I are foodies. My other son says, "We are food bougie. They even sent a blueberry muffin with my order and wrote on the box. Happy birthday. OLDER REVIEW 2023 Best food ever. Their tacos, burritos, fajitas, taco salad, and Chimichanga are superb. Food: Street tacos were excellent. Tried the carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, and barbacoa. Recommend them all.

Service: order at the register. The menu board needs a professional upgrade. We had a late lunch/early dinner, and were the only ones dining in. We took notice of how they didn't take our food to our table during a slow part of the day, so therefore I'm not too pleased with their service. On the upside, the food was ready in five minutes.

Atmosphere: the dining area appeared clean but a bit shoddy and is in need of upgrades. The music system needs an upgrade as well. There was an intermittent tone that went off for a minute straight and was rather annoying while we dined.

Verdict: the street tacos were great. I wish we had tried more good there. The location of the building has no parking adjacent to it, so you'll have to park in the plaza parking lot. I recommend taking...
