This was the most disappointing restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. Upscale aesthetics with mediocre food and poor customer service. When we arrived we were seated right next to a DJ booth. I ask our server could we be seated next to the window facing the patio? He replied “We could not, those seats were reserved for guest with reservations. Mind you, there were only two couples in this entire section which could seat about 50 people. During our time here there were two couples and one group who ask to be moved to the same area. They were all mover with no hesitation. Two of them I managed to ask did they have reservations, and they said no. To start we were brought tostadas, salsa and bean dip, which I must say were bland and flavorless. We ordered two cocktails, a La Brava $17 and a Millennial $18, which were mostly ice and to be honest nothing special. For our appetizer we ordered El Guacamole $18. The guacamole was made fresh in front of us, which was cool. We ask the lady that made it to add a pinch of salt, she was pleasant. The guacamole came with “chicharrones”, but they were literally the pork rinds you buy in a bag at the gas station, and you only got about 5-6 of them. Main course I ordered Camarons Pistachio $29, which was prawns in a butter sauce with a scoop of rice. The presentation was decent, butter sauce was good, but the prawns were overcooked and chewy. My Lady ordered Carne Asada Mr Loco $29, which was a flank sirloin, chorizo, cactus, onion and a bunch of other mess. The presentation was an eye sore, and what they served it on set high enough to where my Lady’s arms were tired from hold her arms up high. She looked like one of the string puppeteers. The best thing that came with her meal was the grilled jalapeño. Also, the music was extremely loud. Now let’s talk about the customer service. Everything felt rushed, we were never made to feel welcome, and it just seem like they had no social skills whatsoever. It was so bad that tonight was my Birthday, and we purposely did NOT tell them because we were not interested in the free desert if it was half as bad as everything else. The bill came to $134. And it was money wasted. If you want great Mexican food, with great music, and impeccable service, go to Bonito Michoacan Mexican Restaurant on Decatur and Spring Mountain… I promise you will not be disappointed.

From the moment we stepped into Mucho Loco, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of pure joy and vibrant energy. The service was truly over the top – every single member of the staff we encountered was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. Their attentiveness made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. But the experience didn't stop at the exceptional service. Their drinks are truly something out of a movie! Each concoction was a visual masterpiece, adorned with creative garnishes and boasting vibrant colors. And thankfully, they tasted just as incredible as they looked – a delightful blend of flavors that were both refreshing and exciting. The food itself was a testament to freshness and quality. My chicken fajitas were outstanding. The vegetables were crisp and bursting with flavor, and the chicken tasted unbelievably fresh – it truly felt like it had just been picked from a garden! The ingredients were clearly high-quality and prepared with care. Beyond the food and drinks, the ambiance of Mucho Loco is an experience in itself. Art is everywhere you look! The walls are adorned with vibrant pieces that add to the restaurant's lively and festive atmosphere. It's more than just a meal; it's a fun and visually stimulating dining experience. For tequila aficionados, the bar area is a dream come true. They boast an impressive selection, seemingly offering every tequila under the sun to choose from. And don't even get me started on the desserts – they were literal works of art! Each plate was beautifully presented and tasted as decadent as it looked. Overall, my experience at Mucho Loco was absolutely fantastic. It's a place where delicious, fresh food meets extraordinary service, stunning drinks, and a vibrant, art-filled atmosphere. I highly, highly recommend going here for a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I came here for the first time. When we have our date nights we like to enjoy a couple of drinks first, then an appetizer, finally our dinner. The hostess was very attentive since we walked in. Asked if we wanted a cornered booth or a table/booth in the backroom. We decided a table/both in the back room. She sat us down. Restaurant was very pretty, I was excited to finally try out this new place in town. With in 5 minutes busperson brings chips and salsa. 10 minutes pass, we still have not been greeted by any server. 15 minutes pass, still nothing. 20 minutes pass STILL nothing. I'm starting to get irritated, I ask my husband to just go to the bar and put in our drink order. Finally I made contact with a woman and asked her if we can just ask her for our drinks, she ashamed asked if anyone has came to ask us for our order, I replied and said no and we been ready to drink. FINALLY after 26 minutes we get our FIRST drinks... I though to my self "well, this night just got wasted as our date night after a long week of work" I really needed to drink and have a nice dinner after this last 2 weeks. My 18 year old daughter just left to her BMT (BASIC MILITARY TRAINING) and I have not heard from her, as a mom I'm devastated!!!! I needed this night to just concentrate on my self and my husband. This night at Mucho Loco was not supposed to be like this. Our server finally comes to our table at about the 24 minutes of been seated, he apologized and asked if we were ready to order, i replied "no, we want to have a few drinks first" he said "ok, your drinks will be out soon" I had to bite my mouth and not tell him "yes, thanks to me ordering them through someone else" We only had 3 drinks, no appetizer, and ended with our dinner. We left Mucho Loco and went to another place to have more drinks. The only reason I did give Mucho Loco a 2 star is thanks to the hostess and the decor, otherwise I would have left a 0 star if possible. But please don't let my review from trying this place, maybe for you (whoever is reading) you do have a better service/experience. But, as for us we are very disappointed and will not be coming back nor will we recommend this place.

P.S. we left a note for the server with a decent tip! (Although, he did not deserve it) I hope you take my advice,...

This is a terrible restaurant that has a very disgusting environment. Tables are very dirty by means of being very sticky and not cleaned or properly sanitized. Utensils are dirty and showing a lot of water spots indicating that they weren't dried up after washing. Tables have silverware placed on top of dirty tables with no table cloth. Utensils should be placed on top of Napkins or wrapped in the Napkins and not making direct contact with the table. I asked to be seated at another table. I was moved but next table was just as filthy. Menu has a salad with the name "toxic salad" and I'll agree with it being toxic. Entire restaurant was changed from a more family restaurant to now being a toxic Americanized Mexican restaurant. Food is extremely over priced. Location is not a place where you would expect to pay a higher price. Owners did a terrible business decision to not maintain Los Cucos brand of the restaurant. Waitress was not a good person who showed care to clients needs. She even acted as if she spoke no Spanish. I then spoke to her in English and she acted (or was) stupid pretending to not be fluent in English. I then had to speak with her in spanish again. This place was not very amicable. Music was extremely louder than other restaurants. If you enjoy dining at filthy restaurants, enjoy your meals here. Otherwise, I suggest you go elsewhere. There are many other nice restaurants that are much better than this restaurant. It's name says a lot. "Mucho Loco" is synonymous with MUCHO MI€RDA, MUCHO S€ROTE, MUCHA CACA, MUCHA CAG#DA. If you like being treated like feces, then go eat here. Otherwise, DO NOT EAT HERE!

I spoke with the manager and he couldn't even offer to properly clean the tables. He could have offered to comp for my drink and appetizer. I decided to pay for what I ordered and then walked out. This is the final time I step into...
