Meráki Greek Grill — Restaurant in Las Vegas

So the food is good. But..

I've been teetering on whether to leave a positive or negative review due to the type of service received. I've returned due to the food, but have left for the third time upset due to the service. This time I sat down at a table with a lovely cactus as the centerpiece. I reached for my water and grazed the cactus with one of my fingers, least to say it hurt and it left its needles in my finger. I asked the waiter for tweezers, to try to get it out or anything to help. They could not find any and after fifteen minutes or so of waiting the waiter finally got back and told me that they didn't have anything. I asked another waitress if they checked the first aid kit, they said that they have nothing to help. Just a quick "sorry" and back to business for them. Otherwise everyone seems too busy to care and quite upset... it's usually quite crowded and loud, so other than the waiters bringing food, you wont get much care from any of the staff it seems. So now I'm left to eat with cactus needles in my finger and figure out what to do on my own.

On another note, they do serve hot tea, but have no to-go cups, which is no problem if you're able to drink it in time with your meal. When you do order it, it is quite good but usually runs quite late (15-20mins to arrive) and you can finish a whole meal before seeing it. in addition, it has arrived half full (this time it was about 3/4ths) at times and I had to send it back to get refilled.

Again. great food. service could improve.

We are spending a few days at a friend's house in Summerlin, a residential neighborhood in Las Vegas, one night talking about trips to places with the beach, I told them that I loved Greece and its cuisine. Immediately my friend told me that the next day we were going to eat at a very good Greek. So it was, we went to have lunch at this restaurant. It is in an area where there are many shops and several options to eat, when you enter there is a space where people look at a huge menu where food and drink orders are taken, they give you a number and you can sit wherever you want, there is a large interior room where you can see how they cook. The menu is varied, we ordered Tzatziki ( Greek Yogurt, Cucumber, Garlic ) and Tirokafteri (Greek Feta, Spicy Roasted Peppers) spreads to share, my husband ordered Chicken Gyro with rice, my friend and I shared a Chicken Kalamakia: Two Skewers of All Natural Chicken Breast Includes Greek Salad, Pita & Tzatziki with your choice of Greek Rice or French Friesher husband a Meráki Steak Burger: ½ lb. Grilled American Wagyu, Red Onion, Tomato, Feta, Arugula, Tzatziki, Brioche Bun. For a little extra you can have access to the machine of Fountain Drink & Side. Choice of Greek Rice, Soup, Fries, Salad or Feta Fries. Of course they have online orders. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The bathroom is spacious and very clean. Mood - Baklava Ice Cream

I saw a photo up of Baklava Ice Cream. I knew in that instant ok, get off work on time not my usual 1-2 hours after ish, and that night was the night.

Upon entering there was a mini line, however the staff was getting everyone through very quickly. Then it became out turn. Was asked if we had any questions. I honestly didnt as I am highly familiar with this type of food.

So opted for the 3 Spread Platter, Meraki Steak Burger, Fries, and of course that Baklava Ice Cream. Once the order was placed, was given a number placard and told to sit wherever we chose. The food is not quick style fair, so it was nice to play catch up and conversate. Then the food starting coming out. Nothing disappointed in the slightest. The fries were straight on point!!!! She even brought out my Ice Cream knowing yes I wanted it with the course. Hey dont, judge me. But let me tell you. It was amazing. I have no clue how they pulled it off. That part doesnt matter, it was heaven in glass. WOW

Interior is several booths and table arrangements. There was music playing in the background and a television going. Everything was very clean. Staff was wearing masks to ensure good ol safety protocols. There is an outdoor seating area as well.

Would most def recommend - pricing was reasonable for the quality and presentation. Staff was hospitable and courteous. Even checking on my table to make sure everything was ok. This is one place I will...
