Well this day turned out to be one I won’t soon forget. Ed Santoro of T-Bird Jewels has always taken excellent care of my family’s jewelry needs and wants. Even when the pandemic started he would occasionally message me solely to send his genuine best regards to make sure everyone was safe and healthy. Well today he messaged me to let me know they just received a Rolex model I’ve long referred to as my grail watch. I immediately responded with my absolute interest and drove to their Summerlin location from my home in Henderson. Thank goodness for radar detectors! I safely arrived and there it was, with Ed smiling from ear to ear because he truly understood how much this means to me. He knows that my plan is to one day hand this timepiece down to my son and future generations. Give this place a try and you’ll feel as I do, part of the family. They build relationships here and once you pair that with their level quality and service you’ll never need another jeweler again. I couldn’t be a bigger fan than I already am of Ed Santoro and T-Bird Jewels! Thank you so much, I can’t stop staring at my gorgeous watch!

Today I purchased my first Rolex with Ed Santoro of T-Bird Jewels and I couldn’t be happier!

My journey began at Rolex inside Caesars Palace. When I walked in their store not only did they have a very small selection but they were rude. Their associate brushed me off as if he thought I couldn’t afford any of their timepieces.

I then walked to Tourneau at Caesars and they were much friendlier however their selection wasn’t impressive either. I exchanged information with a kind associate and asked they place me on a list for the watch I want. The next day I was contacted by the associate at Tourneau and he said he had my watch, certified preowned and they could have it by this Friday. I was ecstatic! Until he told me how much. It was to be sold for $3400 OVER list price, or over 40% more than the $8500 for a new one. I understand price and demand and I’d be willing to pay an extra $500, or even $1500 if I was dying to have an item. He told me the price was firm so I ultimately decided this didn’t feel right and I decided to pass on the offer.

Fast forward a couple days of researching Rolex’s online and coming across this gem, T-Bird Jewels.

I walked in and immediately greeted by Ed Santoro. He came over and shook my hand but he wasn’t pushy. I told him my story and he was empathetic to what had happened to me with his competitors. He walked me over to their Rolex selection. Of course they didn’t have every Rolex ever made however to my surprise they did offer a larger selection of brand new Rolex timepieces than the Rolex or Tourneau I previously visited.

I tried on three Rolex watches and ultimately chose a brand new 41mm Rolex DateJust with the jubilee bracelet. Guess what? It wasn’t 40% above the price of that watch. It was exactly what was listed on the official Rolex website. We rang it up, Ed had it cleaned, and then he even sat me down and taught me what I needed to know about the watch and the warranty.

Not only did I find a gorgeous watch for a fair price, I was treated with respect and that my friend is how it should be when you buy a Rolex.

Pretentious? NO!

I had always wanted to go in to the store, check out the latest Rolex’s and start building a rapport with my local AD and finally pull the trigger on my dream watch. Well, that was before the recent explosion (thank you Covid-19 etc.) in prices of the luxury watch market. It turned me off (or at least it did my budget) and decided not to pursue a high end watch purchase.

However, I recently did go to T Bird Jewels to have my wedding ring resized after putting-on shall we say 20 plus lbs (Thanks Covid-gotta blame someone or something-right?) I finally met Angela (the Rolex watch Ambassador) after talking to her twice on the phone in the past two years (guess I should’ve bought the watch back then) since moving a block from the store. She’s great! She helped me with the ring and we looked at some alternatives to my grail watch. I met Evette and Tammy on that first visit. Both are incredibly friendly and helpful too!

Have you ever walked in to a high end retailer and got the vibe, they’re doing YOU a favor? Or, you get that “uncomfortable” type of a feeling. Not here!

In fact, today, when I picked up my ring (outstanding job btw) I mentioned to Angela, I was coming back from the vet with my dog and she immediately said, “oh, bring her in, we love dogs here”. My first thought was, you want me to bring in my dog, that you’ve never met and into this nice store? Huh? Who does that? OK- We’ll, out to the car and I brought Stella in and she met the WHOLE TEAM before I did. She disappeared in the back somewhere and I could hear excited voices. That brought out the owner and the manager, Ron that were both very welcoming and super genuine.

Not your normal visit to your local area jewelry retailer, that’s for sure. So, if you’re hesitant or don’t like the way you get treated on the Strip in “those” high end stores, come check these guys out, they’re the REAL DEAL! I purchased my wedding ring here 6 years ago from Ron. I decided a few days ago it was time for a change/upgrade and went back to them. I picked a new setting after trying on just about every ring in the store. I’m completely in love with my ring and cannot stop staring at it. When it came to picking the diamond, Ron knew exactly what I wanted and did not want when it came to the color of the diamond. I came back in the next day after he narrowed down two diamonds he thought I would like. He was right on the money with the diamonds he chose. Ron literally is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the 4 C’s of diamonds. He explained what I should look for when purchasing a diamond and explained every detail in what they look for when they purchase their diamonds for their customers. Honestly I was in complete awe with my ring, I have no idea what he was talking about but I trusted him, so no need in fully understanding. That’s why he’s the professional. When it came down to picking one or the other, they were both great options and I could not make up my mind. So I asked his opinion. He picked the higher in color diamond, which was slightly larger than the other diamond lower in color but more expensive. I could not tell the difference because they pick great cuts. Ron/Darryl are amazing and I highly recommend the store. You really do feel like family when entering the store. There is no pressure and every single employee makes you feel welcome. I will ALWAYS use them for any of my jewelry needs. Thanks again for all your help...
