Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Las Vegas

It pains me to say this, but last night, I had the most terrible experience at this Canes. I have specifically been coming to this one for about a decade, and I have never had a bad experience. With Houston's opening up recently, I try to make time to come by here as often as I can when I'm in the mood for chicken, and give them some business.

I passed by at 11pm, after work, and all I ordered was a Kid's meal. I got back, ate my food, and went to bed. I was abruptly awakened at 5am by a terrible pain. Almost like I wanted to throw up, but for the longest time I couldn't. I spent two hours in the bathroom until my stomach finally gave in, and my entire dinner came out. None of it had moved an inch. It felt like I had been socked in the stomach, and remnants of the pain persist even now. I couldn't go back to sleep for hours.

The chicken wasn't raw. I didn't notice any pink. It was either a little undercooked, or there was cross contamination at some point. I can say for sure it tasted like Canes. Maybe I should've been more attentive, maybe there was some sort of tell, but it was late, and I trusted the restaurant not to poison me.

I hate to do this, but I only put this warning out not just for folks wanting to pass by late, but I'm also hoping management sees this and makes sure their night shift is following proper food handling procedure. I had the most terrible night, and I would never wish it upon anyone. Personally, this completely killed me off Canes. Update a year later from the original review below: Because I’m a glutton for punishment, I decided against my better judgement to head to the drive through and order 3 caniac combos with 3 extra toast and 3 extra sauce.

They didn’t ring it up correctly, didn’t read the order back to me, and didn’t give me any of the extras I ordered.

A year later and y’all still can’t get it right. Pathetic

Came through the drive through and ordered 3 caniac combos and 3x extra toast and sauce. Got to the window where the teenage girl read back my order, took my card and gave me THREE drinks. She gives me my card back and shoves a bag in my face with 2 boxes. I tell her that’s not all my food. She looks at me annoyed and says “ it isn’t?” “ uh, I ordered 3 plus extras” “Are you sure?!” “Lady, you JUST read my entire order to me”

She then gets even more irritated when another worker hands her the remainder of my order and she slams it at me out the window.

Never said sorry, never said have a nice day, never said anything.

While leaving we see not one but TWO cars that were ahead of us in the drive through going back inside because their orders were not right.

I went through the drive through and received all of my items I ordered. When I get home to eat, I drink my orange soda and notice it has no flavor. I look at it and it's light orange. It's mostly carbonate and no Fanta syrup. I take the loss since I'd rather not drive all the way back just for soda. I was going to give this review 2 stars until I spoke with a worker at this location. I called to tell them about the orange soda and I was thinking they would offer something(at the very least say something like sorry to hear that would you like to come back and get another), yet all I heard over the phone was "o thanks for letting us know", and because of that, 1 star, plus I'll be leaving feedback on their customer relations website.
