Nestled within the bustling streets of Las Vegas lies a hidden gem that offers a unique and delightful experience for dessert lovers. This sweet haven transcends the ordinary and transports patrons back to the vibrant eras of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves nostalgia, sweet treats, and a touch of whimsy. As you enter this charming establishment, you'll be greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors, sights, and sounds that evoke a sense of nostalgia and wonder. The walls are adorned with vibrant posters, and the eclectic array of desserts will make your mouth water. Every detail exudes a sense of whimsy and nostalgia that is simply irresistible. The dessert menu reads like a love letter to the past, offering an enticing selection of treats spanning decades. You can indulge in classic ice cream cones, creamy gelato, refreshing shaved ice, or decadent milkshakes. For those seeking a truly unique experience, the spaghetti sundaes, floats, and enormous banana splits will surely delight and amaze. During your visit, you can try the strawberry shake, a creamy, dreamy concoction that instantly transports you to carefree summer days spent sipping milkshakes with friends. But what truly sets this dessert shop apart is its commitment to inclusivity. It offers various vegan options to cater to every dietary preference and ensure everyone can partake in the sweet nostalgia. But the most enchanting aspect of this hidden gem is the palpable sense of joy and camaraderie that permeates the air. Whether you're sharing a laugh over a shared banana split or swapping stories of days gone by, this dessert shop is more than just a place to satisfy your sweet cravings—it's a community, a gathering place where memories are made and cherished. In conclusion, if you're looking for a unique and unforgettable dessert experience, look no further than this delightful dessert shop in Las Vegas. Here, amidst the retro décor and delectable treats, you'll find a haven of nostalgia and sweetness that will warm your heart and tantalize your taste buds. So come, step back in time, and embark on a sweet journey down memory lane—you won't be disappointed.

My friend and I stopped into this ice cream shop because it was the closest place to get a cup of water. My friend was having an allergic reaction and I told the cashier this as I requested a cup of water. They refused to give me a cup of water for my friend to take her Benadryl and stop her allergic reaction. They offered to sell me bottled water. Fine. I purchased a bottled water from them that had the sports drink spout. I then asked for a plastic cup to pour the purchased water for my friend to drink more easily as she was becoming sick. The cashier refused to give me a cup. Their colleague refused to give me a cup. I repeated again that my friend who couldn’t even stand at the register who they could clearly see sitting was unwell and I needed that cup. The cashier then proceeded to ask a supervisor or manager about giving me a cup. Three different human beings sat around deliberating on the cost of a styrofoam or plastic cup while my friend had an allergic reaction in 109 degree weather. They made a snarky comment about how I should call an ambulance if my friend was so sick. They claimed they could not provide me with a cup because they are a “small business” I walked away to start giving myself the bottled water when the cashier gave me the tiniest thin styrofoam cup available. If the precious seconds of someone avoiding a more serious allergic reaction is of so little concern to THREE people working at your business because of the cost of a plastic cup, you simply should not be in business. Customer safety, and frankly human life is more important.

Walking into Up In Scoops is like taking a time machine back to when life made sense — you know, when your biggest problem was rewinding your VHS tape before Blockbuster fined you 50 cents. This place is a vibe. It’s dripping with 70s, 80s, and 90s nostalgia — neon arcade signs, cassette tapes on the walls, and posters of icons who raised us better than some of our parents did. The menu is a beautiful disaster of childhood dreams. Where else can you pair a Flintstones Push Pop with a sprinkle-topped banana split and not be judged for singing “Ice Ice Baby” at full volume? I half-expected to see Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski sitting at the next table sharing a sundae and relationship drama. And the ice cream itself? Oh, honey — it’s a righteous explosion of creamy, colorful goodness. I had a scoop so good I swear I heard faint echoes of the “Saved by the Bell” theme song playing in the background. The staff? Radical. Super friendly, decked out in retro gear, and somehow able to smile patiently while I asked if they had any Dunkaroos hidden behind the counter. If you’re looking for a serious trip down memory lane — with the bonus of brain freezes and sugar highs — Up In Scoops is where it’s at. Just don’t blame them when you leave singing Spice Girls at the top of your lungs and craving a Tamagotchi.
