I recently had dinner at Sookdal Korean BBQ in Las Vegas and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the large beef combo and the small pork combo, and both were delicious.
The Food
The large beef combo was the standout. The meat was high quality, well marbled, and incredibly tender. Every cut grilled beautifully and was full of flavor. You could tell the beef was fresh and carefully prepared. It had just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the natural taste without overpowering it.
The small pork combo was also very good. The pork belly was rich and crispy once grilled, and the other cuts had great texture and flavor. It was a perfect balance to the beef combo and offered a nice variety.
Both combos came with a good selection of side dishes. The banchan were fresh and constantly replenished. The steamed egg and tomato risotto were especially memorable and paired well with the meats.
Service and Atmosphere
The service was attentive and professional. The staff handled most of the grilling at the table, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the meal. They checked in often, refilled sides promptly, and made sure everything was cooked just right.
The atmosphere was clean, modern, and calm. It felt more refined than a typical all-you-can-eat barbecue spot. The focus at Sookdal is clearly on quality, both in food and in service.
Overall
Sookdal is a great choice if you are looking for premium Korean BBQ in Las Vegas. The large beef combo is especially worth trying, and the pork combo complements it nicely. With excellent service and a relaxed dining environment, it is a place I would gladly return to. If you enjoy high-quality meat and a more polished barbecue experience, this...
Read moreWe recently tried Sookdal, a new premium Korean barbecue restaurant and it was fantastic! The highlight was definitely the quality of the meat. The meat was so good! They offer both beef and pork combination menus, and each table has a dedicated server who is trained to cook the meat precisely as it should be. We didn’t specify how we preferred it cooked, and everything was prepared perfectly. They cook the meat at a grill at your table. It has a good vent and our server changed out the grill with every meat he cooked, so it wasn't smoky at all and we didn't leave smelling like BBQ!
We ordered the signature platter, which came with a choice of different beef and pork cuts, marinated and not marinated, as well as a choice of soup, a risotto-style dish, cheese and mushroom. Normal rice is extra.
We found it to be surprisingly reasonable for the quality and amount of meat we received, especially when compared to the cost of all-you-can-eat options for the same number of people (there were 4 of us). The quality of the meat, the taste, and the overall experience were far superior. The pork even came with a sign detailing who had wet aged it and for how long. Our favorite was the beef short rib on the bone, but all of the meats were delicious.
We loved the signature sauce (sweet soy sauce base). You also get salt and wasabi to flavor your meat, two different salads (refillable), and an assortment of traditional Korean side dishes.
Once you try this, it'll be hard to ever go back to another all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ!

Read moreDinner at Sookdal was such a unique and fun KBBQ experience! The meat quality and service is above and beyond. They grill EVERYTHING for you which is such a huge plus.
We ordered the large beef combo and the large pork combo for 6 people and it was plenty of food. The combos come with risotto, kimchi or seafood bean paste soup, steamed egg, cheese for grilling, and a variety of salads and side dishes.
The risotto was extremely popular among the ladies at the table! And I was surprised with how clean and flavorful the salads and side dishes were. I was even shocked to find wild pickled leeks here. This is so rare in Vegas! It pairs so well with the pork.
We also had the cold noodle to end off with the marinated meats. It was perfect to end the dinner.
After we left the restaurant, we were all blown away at how much we actually didn't smell like kbbq.
I definitely enjoyed the aged pork so much more and it was fun to read the labels of the aged information. I can't wait to be back here with more friends or even for date night at...
