I walked into El Pollo Loco located at 2401 S. Decatur Blvd on 07/18/2020 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Walked up to a young lady wearing glasses and a hat, told her what I wanted to order, consisting of a 14 pc.leg and thigh mixed the 2 large sides consisting of beans and mashed potatoes, I also wanted to add an extra large mac and cheese and an extra large rice along with 15 to 20 of the small house salsas to go with my order. The young lady at the cashier stand did tell me to let the other employees know of the salsa order when receiving my order. Order number was 923. Upon receiving my order there was an extra large beans a large mashed potatoes and a large rice, which is not what my side orders were nor what I had payed for. I corrected it before they had placed it into the bag. I then went back to the cashier and placed another order because they did tell me the cashier did not charge me for the extra large rice and mac and cheese that I ordered so it would be $1.40 extra. I payed that also adding another extra large rice. Second order number was 925. When I had asked the employees for 15 to 20 house salsas for the second time you can clearly see the cashier that I had told and another worker talking about how I wanted so many. The cashier gave me the red salsa which wasnt what I had asked for again so she turned around and threw an attitude with her manager Jasmin. I then asked for the cashier and the employees name that were trending to my order. The employee was not wearing a name badge and the cashier refused to turn around and give me her name when I had asked for it. Everyone else besides those 2 young ladies were wearing a name badge. The manager Jasmin came up to try to defuse the situation, then calling the employee I was asking for her name, Sandra. Sandra then said to me, "even if you call customer service they will just take your complaint and move on!" Jasmin the manager then telling the employee Sandra not to say that to the customer. By far one of the most horrible experiences. If I had to pay extra for such house salsas I should have been notified at the front counter upon paying the first time I asked for it during the first order. I was ordering a 14 PC. Feeding 6 ppl 2 small house salsas per person and 2 extra for anyone else who might have wanted them. Didnt think I was asking for too much, but since they had already gotten my order wrong twice before i had even left the restaurant I'm sure that's where the insubordination came in. Saul (another employee) had to calm all the other female employees down and was very apologetic for their actions. Very unhappy with the service from these employees and the restaurant management on how they handled the whole situation. I was not rude or raising my voice in any way, I was simply wondering where my order had gotten so screwed up to begin with. They also over charged me for their initial mistake....

After patronizing this establishment about 3 times over the last couple of months, I will NOT be returning to this location because it is always something, and I truly feel bad for the leadership team in this establishment because the staff that they have reatined are ignorant, immature, very rude and unacceptable in their behaviors.
They can talk and play, play, and talk but can't fulfill simple orders while being highly unprofessional in front of customers because they are too busy playfully cussing each other out as if there is nothing else to do while on the clock. No wonder why they now have you order from a machine because this current workforce in this establishment is unprofessional at best. The first problem I had was satisfied by the General Manager who is very understanding and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were taken care of after I almost ingested a piece a plastic that was in my burrito and she encouraged me to give them another chance with a replacement and refund. I also ordered the Chips and Queso but never received the Queso. Here we are 2 orders after the original issue, I again ordered 2 burritos with Chips and Queso and yet again never received the Queso. Probably because they are too busy messing up other orders and cussing each other out.
No Decorum or respect for themselves whatsoever. Employees are not only disrespectful and unprofessional but also fail to render customer service and hospitality. Their work ethic is ABSOLUTELY TRASH because thats where it belongs, right in the GARBAGE. I had to call 6 times, and the last time I called private, which is when they decided to answer the phone. I am highly mortified, and at this point, all I want is my refund so I can be done.

Last night around 9 PM I pulled into the drive through with my family to treat ourselves to some healthy fast food. The person in the drive-through I believe his name was Al Fred is very rude and short over the speaker as though he had something more important to get back to. A couple menu items that changed and we had to re-decide on our order. when I pulled forward to the window this guy obviously had his mind on something other than the help and quality nourishment of his patrons. Behind him I observed an employee standing on top of the flattop Grill cleaning the hood vents and the surrounding stainless steel above with a spray degreaser. As he sprayed and wiped I watched the caustic chemical degreaser mist settle down on some open cooking chicken on the front flame broiler next to him. Across from this was a female employee who was on her knees atop a dirty cutting board wiping crumbs toward herself. I watch the crumbs fall into the open cooling table she was kneeling on and down into the open pans and ice cream scoops that measure the condiments for our food. I brought this to the attention of the after mentioned distracted manager and he sneered at me and in a tone of mind your own business said "Yeah man, I'll take care of it."
