Went on Thursday evening for our first time - unfortunately probably our last time also.
Server was very nice, and (when she actually CAME to our table) was super quick with helping us out. Unfortunately in the almost hour we were there, she came over twice, not counting the delivery of foods. They were not busy either - she visited OTHER tables often, she just skipped us on most passes :( Not sure if it was because they were actually flagging her down, or what.
TV was SUPER loud. Like "If you want to talk to someone, you need to start yelling" loud. They did eventually turn it down, but oi. It was bad for the first 10-15 minutes.
The nigiri was very good. We didn't have a LOT, but what we did have was tasty, and well made. Nothing tasted old, or 'out of sorts'. The Yuzu Yellowtail was amazing.
Shrimp tempura ... I think was serious frozen. The batter was not 'normal' tempura. It looked like stuff you get from the grocery store boxes.
Then we got to the rolls. Whenever we go to a new sushi place, we always try to order half rolls only, just to get a feel for how they're made, how big they are, etc .... Was immediately informed they don't do half rolls. Midly disappointing, but not going to put them on blast over it or anything like that. So we started with only a couple of rolls ... and SUPER glad that we did.
I'm not sure if this was maybe newer chef? Or maybe because it WAS a mid-week trip they didn't have their best on the line? I don't know .. The amount of rice used was just crazy. I'm not a super picky person, but there was probably 2-3x the amount of rice than any other sushi place I've ever been to. The pieces were cut so unevenly that we'd have 1/5th of the roll as one piece - literally. One piece would leave Tiny Tim asking for more, while the next piece would feed an entire army.
They were just ... gross overall. The rice was very soggy on some of them like they had been sitting in sauce for a while .. They HADN'T been sitting in sauce for a while, but it FELT like they had been.
Overall, the Nigiri was good. The rolls were not. The price vs food was not worth it with AYCE for us. I doubt we'll go back, but if we do we'll stick to bar and just get...

I have ordered from Sushiro 3 times this year for delivery, ones from Postmates in October, and twice from Uber Eats. This order was the last one after giving. Them 3 tries to get it right.
I put in the special notes in every dish that I wanted extra soy sauce, and that's all I asked for. I put it in the final notes as well, and requested utensils both through the apps utensils selection, and with the written note. All THREE times they have ignored the special notes.
Had I ordered something for myself or my girlfriend with something on it that either of us were allergic to, and we put in the notes not to put it on, I guarantee they would miss the notes. They don't pay attention.
My birthday is tomorrow and I finally got my girlfriend, whom hates sushi, to agree to get some with me because it's gunna be my birthday... Now I have no soy sauce, no utensils, and black spots on the avocado...
Upon calling, I was offered to come back and get some soy sauce, but that defeats the purpose of the special notes and the delivery. It's also a ridiculous thing to offer as a remedy for not paying attention EVER!
I will never go to Sushiro again, I won't order from there again, and I'll make sure no one I know ever...
Read moreBest Sushi with a side of Credit Card theft!!!! The sushi here is as good as I have ever had. Unfortunately, someone in the staff stole my credit card info. Normally, people might not catch this, but since I'm a disabled veteran who seldom is able to go out & really wanted to treat my wife to something special on Christmas Eve, I managed to steel up for the 1st time in 2 months & thank her with a special meal. The food was phenomenal & as good as you will find anywhere, let alone in the middle of the desert. However 2 days later my card was charged with purchases at a JackInTheBox-of all things-in Lake Ensinore, CA, followed by 3 such purchases 2 days later. Fortunately my Bank is quite familiar with my inability to roam about the countryside & immediately contacted me upon request for the latter charges. Bottom line is no real skin off my wallet, just inconvenience of having new card issued; but I really am a bit miffed at having left a good tip for a dishonest person. I've tried several times to contact SushiRo owner, including leaving my contact info and explaining the problem; but either the manager chose not to forward the info or they don't care. It is truly unfortunate because this really was a feast my wife & I...
