I ordered a 2 for 7$ meal around 1:30pm, Thursday afternoon @the north rancho Wendy's location. I specifically and clearly asked Genesis, the manager for a spicy chicken sandwich and a single. Im always sure to mention that i like my spicy chicken sandwich to be made like a single. So i asked for both of my sandwiches to be made the same. Like the single. No tomatoes on both. My single looked old and dry and tasted flavorless. It looked like it should've been chili meat hours ago. The restaurant was not busy. I don't understand why I wasn't served a fresh patty. I am always willing to wait for fresh meat. I don't usually have to ask. I jus expect Freshly cooked meat. Not old dry chili meat. The chicken sandwich was given to me without pickles ketchup and onions. I returned to the counter for the rest of the condiments. I asked for Both sandwiches to be made the same. The young lady , not Genesis. Was obvious frustrated and gave the sandwich back to the sandwich maker. When i then opened up the spicy chicken sandwich the third time, I noticed there was no ketchup. So I reluctantly returned to the counter to once again get the sandwich I paid for and specifically asked for. Can u add ketchup please i asked. The sandwich came back with the biggest glob of ketchup on it. Like the lady's said ... oh, u want ketchup too. Take that. A Very unnecessary interaction and series of interactions. And they were easily avoidable interactions. I have been going to Wendy's for 30 years. White red green, white red green. Mayo ketchup pickles. Onions tomatoes lettuce. Very simple. The order of the condiments, the amount, and placement of condiments have been the same for at least the past 30 years. I also never received a receipt for this order. But i was definitely not going to return to continue to "harass" these poor ladys. Since i was clearly the problem here. The way these lady's were treating me, i felt like i was the issue. The poor supervision of employees and of the execution of sandwich making is very disappointing. obviously no training or next to little training. The customer service displayed, or the lack such was embarrassing. There was no Quality control and the freshness of my single was very sad. My order was not what i have come to expected from my Wendy's old fashioned hamburger restaurant . I hate to think of the quality of the fries in this location. Too scared to order. Probably never coming back. Because if I complain, I'm going to be the one causing a problem. It's never the crew members fault. Eyes roll. Friendly tone gone. Sandwiches half wrapped. Attitudes. ... I can't express enough how so very disappointed I am with the service and interaction and transaction i had at this...
Read moreWent to this Wendy's 10:45am July 8th 2023..I went with my mom and ordered two #1's chicken bacon croissant breakfast sandwiches and dinned in. I have never experienced worse service in my entire 46 years of life at any restaurant...The staff hides around the corner so they can deliberately ignore any person standing at the register. After having to raise my voice to get someone to come over, they finally did. They did it with a rushed and annoyed attitude. They took our order 17 minutes later. I finally walk up to the counter and they're still hiding behind the corner. I had to yell and ask if they were planning on giving us our order and they're like oh, we didn't know you had an order. I was like. Are you kidding me so they hadn't even begun to cook it after 17 minutes? Me and my mom had to be somewhere at 11:00 a.m. so we didn't have any time to wait any longer, but they wouldn't come back around from behind the corner where they were hiding despite me yelling. We can't wait! We would like a refund. They threw our sandwich together. Extremely rushed. Give us french fries with that order too. When it's supposed to be breakfast potatoes, the sandwich was cold, just the worst experience I've ever experienced and it's not the first time I've gone there. One time I asked for fresh fries and I may as well have been pulling out fingernails because they were so upset that I had bothered to ask for fresh fries they through my fries in the bag spilling half of them out on the counter angry that they were asked to make fresh fries. Because every time I go there the fries are ice cold. Just simply the worst service, the worst food I will never go back...
Read moreI come to this Wendy’s a lot. There’s not usually a problem, but tonight there were two BIG ones. Including a possible health code violation. First I get to the drive thru. There’s a backup of about four cars. “Why aren’t we at least moving, there’s not a line out the window,” I think to myself. You wanna know why? Because they were stopping every car at the speaker. The lady told me to “please wait a second” so okay, yeah no problem. I used to work fast food I understand it can get busy, cool, let’s take a break. 6 minutes later, I’m still waiting. Not good. But okay, maybe someone’s training, and that’s not a HUGE wait time so I’ll chill. They got the order mostly right. Went to eat the fries, and I’m noticing some burnt pieces. So okay maybe they forgot to clean the fryer and it burnt some stuff up, okay no big deal to me at least. Then I keep eating. NOPE. BACON BITS. BURNT BACON BITS. Btw, this reeks of cross contamination issues. I can’t even eat it now because I don’t want to imagine what else was in that fryer. Can you imagine if I was vegetarian? Y’all would be facing a lawsuit. I will be reporting to SNHD so expect an inspection soon. As for management, check who was on staff 08-01-25, 7:00pm. Crazy to be letting this happen. Won’t be coming back to this location, which is unfortunate because it was on the way to work. The lady working window was very nice though, so props to her.
Update: I don’t know what happened with this order when no body was looking but I just got diagnosed with food poisoning and haven’t eaten anything besides an apple since then. Please be cautious until after their...
