As a business owner who frequently orders catering for weekly lunches for my team, I was extremely disappointed by my recent experience at this restaurant. Iâve been ordering from local businesses for our teamâs weekly meals, and unfortunately, this place will no longer be part of our regular rotation.
The issue began when I called in an order and was quoted a price over the phone that didnât match the price listed on their menu. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I expected a simple resolution. Instead, the owner argued with me, first claiming the upcharge was due to taxes, which is factually incorrect, as taxes are calculated based on the overall price. She then shifted to saying the higher price was due to the cost of eggs. This was not only frustrating, but also unprofessional.
I told her I would pay the higher amount this one time but made it clear that I would not be returning for future orders. Her response was dismissive, saying, âWhy do you care? Itâs not your money.â As a business owner, I find that kind of attitude toward a customer to be completely unacceptable. When I pointed out how she wouldnât want her employees to have that same mentality about her business, she continued to argue.
To make matters worse, after I was at the counter, ready to pay, she refused to ring me up and instead served another customer first, telling me I had to wait because I âwanted to argue.â I stated to her, âThe customer is always right, and her remark was, not here,â which clearly shows how little they value their customers.
As a regular customer ordering catering every week for my team, this experience has made it clear that this restaurant is not a place I will be supporting going forward. The lack of respect for customers and unprofessional behavior was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone looking for reliable and...
Read moreI had somewhat high expectations for this place because of the ratings. I was excited to have a potential new spots for Mexican food.. but I was wrong. I ordered 3 dishes for 2 people. We wanted to have more variety & all 3 were bland. When you go to restaurants itâs always best to get more than 1 dish because with 1 dish, you may just have gotten their least popular. I regret spending the money. We had tho pollo flautas, asada tacos, and chile verde (puerco, pork). How were all 3 meats under seasoned? I also realized the beans and rice were sorry which definitely irritated me as I LOVE the two.. theyâre a staple in Mexican food. I really wanted to like this place as the ladies were sweet but I canât do it. I donât understand why theyâre 4.6 stars?
I noticed the owner left a snarky comment âwell by the looks of 3 platesâ. It was my first time going and I always get multiple dishes my first time to give the restaurant a fair...
Read moreOkay, seriously good authentic Mexican cuisine. Little background: So Cal girl, moved to Oregon, now on a big rig with the hubby. Mexican food in Oregon isn't great when you're from So Cal. This place, it is some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Everything was good: my hubby got a bacon bfast burrito, the rice and beans I had were tasty as well. But let me tell you about the star... I got the chilaquiles (green). Oh. My. God. Seriously authentic delicious chilaquiles. Hands down best I've ever eaten. Not only were they authentically executed, but the ingredients used were great quality. The highlight of the dish was the salsa verde they were prepared in. I could drink that stuff. Just a nice level of heat with a punch of flavor. There were chiunks of onions cooked into it, and a couple of eggs on top. I don't think thank you is enough to say to the beautiful owner of this amazing establishment. Best...
