My son and I visited Paris morning on December 31st, 2023. My two kids and their friends frequently ask for boba tea, multiple times a week. When we entered the store there was only one customer being serviced. I told my son to order the three boba teas which he always gets for himself, my daughter and my wife. He placed the order and we proceeded to browse the pastry selections to add to the order. A couple walked in and approached the counter to place an order. The young lady at the register firmly spoke across the store that we should pay now for part of the order so that she could take care of the couple who were next. I mentioned we are picking out something else to add to the order. She said, do you want me to cancel this so I can take care of the nexxt couple. I said go right ahead. The couple paid and my son had to reorder the custom order all over again. When the couple walked out of the store, I firmly said, "do you always make someone pay for a partial order before completing the order so that you could take the next in lines' order?" The couple who were next in line were not rushing or being annoyed to place an order, so there was no reason to rush us.
If there was a problem with the process, why did she not make the customer ahead of us pay so that she could process us. I heard her clearly mention to the person making the boba for the person ahead of us that she did not pay, so why was it different with us. You can see from my profile that I'm not a huge reviewer online but when someone makes me feel uncomfortable I tend to speak up. I believe she should be retrained or dismissed because we will no longer spend $75 -$100 per week at your bakery. Sometimes we even visit with up to six of us to patronize the location. Maybe I was viewed differently for my rough exterior and the good looking couple after us gave a different impression. I don't know, but this issue arises occasionally because of my rough exterior. Very, very disappointed to have to find another location to visit. We live just behind your location in Inverrary. We could...
Read moreInitially I could not find the location(the sunrise location)I called & the person could not tell me where she even was..I asked how do u get to work?...I literally had to tell her what was around the area, asked her what place of business ,landmark, gas station is nearby. She said the oriental mart\barber shop is near her...👀 I gave silence..bcs I'm sure that is a "vague answer".The issue I mostly have is that most of these places...., you CAN NOT see the # of the business from the street let alone can't see a sign of the name of the business & they darn sure DO NOT seem to advertise\market their business. After figuring out the name of a few businesses close by with the young lady( together) that answered the found I found the place 22mins later. The place was small, quaint, clean, desolate, quiet & the displays & ambiance was lovely(the music was just ok)I ordered the iced green tea latte...she had no skim,no coconut ,macadamia,or lactose free milk...regular & almond only 👀...really? @10 in the morning?I asked for the green tea cake..per the reviews i read that was the thing to eat\order...she told me She has a WHOLE cake but can't...or won't cut it.I saw samples of other things on the middle cart display so I decided to have that (all 10 pieces I sure did..u didn't have what i want so I saw free & took it all)& when She got done making my Latte with regular milk she made it hot....not iced 👀.To be honest it was a quick fix she added ice just not enough.took my tea sat down for 20.love the seating areas.Very PLEASING TO THE INSTAGRAM EYE.the walls & colors were nice.I would assume since its a bakery..a morning bakery\tea spot they would have chairs outside?I liked the tea & the minor touches of Paris aesthetics ....however, if more marketing & outside seating is done & the cashier was less occupied on her phone (after she was thru helping me)& a little more breakfast items were served I am sure I \ ppl WOULD make more than ONE visit.Maybe the Davie Location is a bit better\filled with more traffic Idk...but I go there...
Read moreI normally get one particular drink. I always get it with oat milk. Well the last time I ordered my usual drink it was horrible it tasted like a totally different drink. I thought maybe they used soy. When I called to ask what happened the worker kept telling me she used oatmilk but a different brand so it shouldn't be a difference. I told her obviously it's very different because I noticed. She kept saying the same thing. Didn't offer any refund or concession Do these people ever taste what they are serving to people? Why on earth would a bakery/restaurant use a different product and not check the taste and the quality?? This combined with the fact that they are always out of something really made me feel like they don't care. Some of the workers need to be trained on customer service. All oatmilk, almond milk and soy milk doesn't taste the same or have the same consistency. For someone working in food to not know this, seems rather careless and left a bad taste in my mouth LITERALLY. I guess the good thing is I'm no longer addicted to that drink and I'll save a lot of money because...
