This is my absolute favorite place for patties, ever! I canāt say enough good things about this place! Iāve been coming here for years and Iām sorry I havenāt posted a review till now š¢. This is an authentic Jamaican spot. The patties are the best I have had since I left my old neighborhood in the Bronx, New York. I grew up on E. 233 St., and for those who know, itās a very West Indian area with the best food!
They have a great selection of patties to choose from. There are regular and spicy meat patties, jerk chicken, curry chicken, veggie, and even callaloo with saltfish patties, just off the top of my head. Iāve tried most and every single one has been amazingly delicious šš¤¤. And donāt get me started about that coco bread šādare I say, the best around town!
Iāve brought all my friends and family here when they come to visit me. Let me tell you, everyone agrees 1000%! They also have great West Indian goodies like bun and cheese, rum cake, and hardo bread, just to name a few.
Oh, and you HAVE to try their fruit punchāMMMMMMM-Mmmmmmm! Never leave without getting a large.
Go check them out⦠You will be pleasantly pleased...

Itās easy for popular spots to lose the spark that made them great, rushing product and sacrificing quality. From my experience, Charlieās Jamaican patties went through that phase but have bounced backāreminding me of their 80s glory days. The Jerk Chicken patties are my favorite, with a flaky crust and a rich, spicy filling thatās absolutely addictive when done right.
The only issue? Consistency. Some days itās perfect; others, it misses the mark. Once youāve nailed the recipe for your Jerk Chicken patties, locking in that formula every time, no matter whoās making them, would keep the authentic Jamaican flavor strong and reliableācrucial for great branding.
What I truly value is that Charlieās patties donāt contain that jelly-like filler many others use to bulk up their products. Even on occasional off days, Charlieās Pastriesā patties surpasses the competition...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has the best sweet treats. Cakes, bulla, greater cakes, drops, coconut buns. And omg jesus had to bake the banana bread. The banana bread is only $2 per slice and that slice is obese. The banana bread taste so god you will act a damn fool. I saw a lady taste it then she started dancing fast to r &b song. The breads are awesome and served fresh daily so is the patty and coco breads. Oh hold on gimme a minute of silence for how i killed my diet on the coco breads i ate 3 before i realized where i stood. The baked items are of the highest quality very delicious. I just think the place needs a little facelift to look better for patrons. It would help if they had a couple seats and tables as well. The customer service is excellent over...
