Lallos — Restaurant in Lauderhill

When they first opened I got invited there a bunch of times but never went , when I did I felt as if it was over hyped. I ordered white rice, curry goat, and a couple beers. The beers took forever to get to the table my boyfriend mentioned to a few workers ( not our server , she disappeared ) that he hopes the beer is fresh made in the back because it was taking so long. Maybe he shouldn’t of made jokes but they laughed didn’t worry that 30 minutes later we had no beers and kept walking. The beers finally came I was over excited and killed the beer, I really should have drank it sparingly because it took forever to get there the first time and little did I know I would need it to get the food down. The food tasted great but Geez and Peas was the goat tough, it was like when you try to cook it at home but don’t want to give it the time it needs soooo it gets chewy and stuck in your teeth. Like I said the food was delicious but I couldn’t eat it, my teeth weren’t up to the challenge. It seems like a nice place to party though, if you want to chill you can sit inside and hear the music , watch a couple shows, wait forever for one beer. this place is a great spot to meet up with folks you don't see on the regular it's like partying uptown when you visit Jamaica and that is what i enjoy the not so harsh environment no pon intended but it is a more relaxing chill environment people from all walks of life come through to be apart of the vibes from the live band to the food service is a vibe i have been apart of this place ever since they opened up before the enclosures i use to just go for the curry goat and the roti with my wings on the side they have some bomb wings i was saddened to hear about the owner who was a very dedicated person to his business and was very nice to me whenever i would visit in the earlier times before he got ill he would always make sure i got my fruit punch at lunch time whenever he was there we would sit and talk about his ideas for the place and he always had that drive in him to make that place a success always motivating others from my views i wish him all the best and lallos is definitely a place you can get a good vibe if you are ever...

The venue and atmosphere is wonderful. However they lack customer service. We initially went inside to place our order; we were told by one of the servers that to have a seat outside they will be out to serve us momentarily andto takeout orders, however that never happened. We waited 30 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our order. Three different servers passed our table a total of 7 times. Two of the servers took orders, delivered food, and brought drinks to the tables next to us and never acknowledged us or ever came and took out order. One of the server try to avoid eye contact with us. the other one I stopped and asked if she could take our order when she was finished serving the table next to us, she acknowledged me and said yes however she never returned to take our order, but when she did return to the area she also pretend as if she didn't hear us requesting assistance. Eventually we got up went to place the order to go and return back to our table and sit back down and ate. Very horrible...
