Minji's Cafe — Restaurant in Lauderhill

My absolute favorite korean restaurant. I'm addicted to this place I go with my boyfriend every other weekend. I drag all my friends that have never had korean food to here as well. It's a small family style restaurant. They always have Korean T.V shows playing that are fun to watch. Very reasonably priced and great quality service. The staff are always kind and attentive. Everything always comes out hot and fresh. They give you multiple side dishes that always taste great. After you've finished your meal they bring you a plate of fresh cut fruit. If you don't want to dine in you can call ahead and place an order for carryout. They send home a plate full of side dishes with your meal as well. When I get home the food is still hot so I get to enjoy it without reheating it. The only issue with carryout is they don't have a menu online so if you do order carryout you are going to have to go by memory. They also don't do delivery. I would get food from here more often if they did. (We live 30-40 min from where they are located) I would definitely recommend this place...

I went there once to check them out because the last Korean / Chinese place I went to gave me racist vibes. The one guy in there was being very rude to me for no reason, then got mad when I started being rude back. Every time I spoke, he looked at me funny, laughed or ignored me so I said F U 2 and spoke to the woman only. I came back 2 days later, tried to place an order, the same guy asked me why I don't go to Kings Buffet instead. I placed my order, left and never came back for my order. Started today, I'm not supporting no more restaurants and I'm cooking from home from now on. These people don't respect us but...

The food was awesome!!! I loved it, altho I had to pace myself since I'm not used to the spiciness, hahahaha! However, I wouldn't recommend this place to the uninitiated when it comes to Korean food, many of the dishes in the menu don't have a description to go with it and only have their traditional names. So it may be hard to know what exactly you are ordering. Also I think it might be safe to assume almost everything is spicy since many things also don't say that they are spicy.
