So, I live in the deep south and I've heard about In and Out Burger for most of my adult life, but had never been to one as I think they're only out west. As far as I understand, In and Out has a cultish following similar to Chik Fila, I may be wrong, but that's how it's always talked about. I gave this restaurant, not judging the whole brand, 4 stars for 3 reasons:
The service by a beautiful young lady named "Jordan" at the drive thru window at 10-11PM on the night we visited. Jordan was just syrupy sweet! Do you know what I mean? She was extra professional, laced with an extra upbeat personality and demeanor (given the hour especially), and didn't overlook a single detail of our order and all our special requests. Back home, she'd be management at Chik-Fila. She's just that awesome. The girl needs a raise for being that good.
The prices are great. The single burger, fries and drink were only about $6.60. Not too shabby, for the amount of food you get.
They're quick. They brought our drinks to us first, and the food followed shortly after from an equally sweet colleague of Jordan's. Management definitely knows how to pick great staff members at In & Out in Laughlin.
The issues: Oh, but given how hyped up this restaurant is or how I thought they were, the burger is lacking on simple flavor. Is no one throwing any seasoning salt or even simple salt and pepper on these burger patties? It was SO BLAND. Then, my burger wasn't done and it was a very thin patty. I'm not sure if thats the normal cook for burgers at In and Out but I like mine done, and it just wasn't done. The lettuce, and tomatoes were perfect, fresh, crisp, and that's cool, but that shouldn't be the highlight of my burger. The special sauce tasted like a chunky thousand island dressing that somehow lacked the full flavor of typical thousand island, disappointing. My fries were cold and lifeless. I don't like McDonalds fries, but imagine McDonalds fries when they're cold and limp, that's how my fries were.
I could've called back, yada yada yada, and let them correct it. It was late and it just wasn't worth the trip going back for. I opted for sleep instead. I'll be back, but I won't be so hyped next time, but I will be looking for a better experience next time. Nothing personal to the chefs...
Read moreIf you're cruising down Casino Drive in Laughlin, Nevada, with a rumble in your tummy, there's one shining beacon that beckons like a mirage in the desert: In-N-Out Burger. Trust me, folks, this isn't your average fast-food joint. It's a temple of fresh, juicy burgers, crispy fries, and animal-style dreams. Stepping inside is like stepping into a California dream. The iconic red and white checkerboard floors, the friendly faces behind the counter, and the intoxicating aroma of grilling beef instantly put you in a good mood. But the real magic happens when you crack open that burger. I went for the Double-Double, a classic masterpiece of two juicy beef patties, melted American cheese, crisp lettuce, vine-ripened tomato, tangy pickles, and that secret In-N-Out sauce that binds it all together in a symphony of flavor. Each bite was an explosion of fresh, never-frozen ingredients, cooked to perfection – no dry patties or soggy buns here! And let's not forget the fries. Hand-cut and cooked to a golden perfection, they're the perfect sidekick to any burger. Add a sprinkle of that magical In-N-Out salt and you've got yourself a salty-savory treat that's hard to resist. But here's the kicker: In-N-Out Laughlin isn't just about the food. It's about the experience. The staff is always friendly and efficient, the vibe is casual and inviting, and the location is prime – close enough to the casinos for a post-win celebration or a pre-gambling fuel-up. So, whether you're a lifelong In-N-Out devotee or just looking for a delicious break from the desert heat, make sure to add this In-N-Out to your Laughlin itinerary. It's not just a burger, it's an experience. Just don't blame me if you get hooked on the "animal...
Read moreThe only clean, modern, well-managed, efficient, and fun place remaing the the Hell-Hole, that which is Laughlin. The staff is pleasant (even remembered me from a year ago), the food is first rate, and affordable (the only place in Laughlin that is), and it's clean, ever so clean... unlike the rest of Laughlin, dark, dingy, abandoned, scary 😨! If you want to experience Laughlin, just find a burned-out ghetto somewhere with broken bottles, boarded-up buildings, urine stains, trash everywhere, and hateful, shady people. However, if you do find yourself banished to Laughlin, eat at this In-N- Out, one of the best! Oh, and if you travel across the great sewer, aka Co. river to Bullhead, watch out for the cops, especially a tiny, little bald headed prick, he's nasty and very creepy ladies, cover your lap when he pulls you over, he stared at mine the whole time he was interogating me... licking his sweaty lips. In fact, just avoid both these future ghost towns... except to eat at In-N-Out, get it to go, and then get the hell out of the infected poop hole called Laughlin. I'm being serious, avoid this awful, greedy,...
