UPDATE: I wrote this review during dinner. I increased the original rating from 2 to 3 stars. Manager came by and earnestly attempted to remedy the experience. Again, what an indictment on the owners, who have placed good, hard-working people in an impossible situation.
The place has a decent vibe, but the people that run this place are extremely rigid. If you want to change anything on your order, the first response is "no, we don't allow changes." If you push a little harder, ask a few more questions, or speak with a manager, you're told that "we can remove your side dish, but will not replace it. If you want to add something, we will charge you. That's our policy."
We originally had a server (don't know his name), but he was immediately annoyed with our questions and started to walk away in the middle of the conversation to "get a manager." The manager was no help and not accommodating.
Also, a fly attacked our table the entire meal. It was really annoying. We were dining inside.
Our new server, Christian, was outstanding. He was very apologetic about the ridiculous, unfriendly, rigid rules (my words, not his). He empathized, sympathetized, and did everything he could to make our visit a nice one.
I've read other reviews, and Christian has received compliments from other guests as well.
As someone who has worked in the service industry, off and on for many years, this place has so much potential.
However, it's disappointing.
If you are easily satisfied by a "take what you get and be happy with it" restaurant, this place is for you.
If you want to pay for a meal that YOU actually want to eat, I would not recommend this restaurant. The owner/management is not here to make you happy. They're here to make their own lives easier.
That's not what the service industry is about. Christian gets it. The owners don't.
I gave two stars: Christian was excellent, the atmosphere is fun & decor is above average. The manager was unhelpful, first server was disinterested, the food is average at best, & the inflexible nature of the...
Read moreA little expensive for day to day but right on par for the casino area. Service was good. Food was mediocre. We had a large group so they said we had to sit outside or all sit separate because they couldn't put tables together. So we sat outside and watched the basketball game through the window. Server was really nice and friendly. Young man with blond hair and whose go to phrase was "I wish" when we asked for something they didn't have (booster seat, coor light on tap, etc). He was very kind and actually checked in with EVERYONE everytime he came back. The brussel sprouts had good flavor but don't crisp like most places serve them. The brisket sandwich was a little on the smaller side and the BBQ au jus my husband was so excited about was mostly just barbecue sauce. The double crunch chicken was a pretty good size piece of chicken with decent flavor but had a unmelted piece of American cheese and tomato slapped on it. A good basic kinda sandwich you could find at Wendys. The pizza was bigger than a little personal but smaller than a normal pizza so that was nice to share with kids. The fries were good beer battered type and good and crispy. The IPA selection they had was nice and the creamy orange drink went over very well. Little bit of a kick in the pants though we went to leave and there was a large party seated inside with tables pulled together when we had been told we couldn't do that. Overall service and drinks were pretty good with the patio having a nice view of the strip and being able to go right out to the casino floor. If you are going for the food specifically I'd probably stick with...
Read moreSo my family and I had drove up to Laughlin for the Tobey Keith concert. When we arrived at the hotel we checked in and then decided to go eat. We go to The Brew Brothers because it was the only place in the hotel open. First the lady says they are only open for reservations but they still got us in. We were sat by the kitchen. We get in we order drinks which were amazing. Then we order our food. Two burgers and fish n chips. The waiter left and 15 minutes later came back and said that it would be longer due to a party of 15. We speak to a manager but she says that we still have to wait because there ticket time is 25/30 mins. Never in my life have I had to wait that long for two burgers and fish n chips. We finally got our food; the fish n chips were great but the burgers were subpar. For being advertised as a burger pub these burgers were not up for the challenge. I could have gotten better tasting burgers from McDonalds. During the meal I finished my drink and it took five minutes to have someone even ask if I wanted another drink. (They weren’t that busy) After we had finished our meal we waited and no one came to get our plates. Not worth the $75+ we spent. The manager was not nice nor was the food that great. The server Michael did his best. All in all would never visit this place ever again. The two stars are for the server and the drinks not for...
