I am horrified. I have never in my 67 years of life had any. Waitress, tell me to get out of a restaurant. I'm always a very polite person so there would be no reason I asked the waitress. To make sure not to bring me my dinner before. My appetizer was finished when they brought the appetizer to my table, I confirmed a second time with her. Please don't bring my dinner please!
Until I was done with my appetizer. Well well, I took 2 bites of my egg roll and 3 minutes later They brought my dinner ,I told the person that brought it out that I had asked not to have my dinner till I was done with my appetizer. She just looked at me and smiled. Nodded her head twice and walked away. So I decided I didn't have time now to eat my appetizer. So I reached across the table and set it down on the other side. I am an elderly Man with mobile problem so. When I set it down on the other side I wasn't able to set it flat so it clinked a little on the table. At that time, my waitress was taking an order from another customer. 2 tables away from me,she stopped talking to the customer. Looked over at me and screamed, get out. Get out. How dare you make a noise? You don't have to do that. She screamed at me at least 10 × get out and embarrass me in front of the other customers. So first of all that's a form of discrimination because I'll guarantee you a lot of customers clink their Silverware. and plates on their table And they never throw out the customer for that. I find it a form of elder abuse to Do That to a senior like Myself. I only. Live off of social security. and go out to eat once a week. My chest is hurting because I have had a heart attack already. I live alone,I always eat out in restaurants alone. This lady has really. Hurt me. So don't go there if you don't want to be abused like me. All because she got the order wrong and didn't listen to a word. I said. Very, very disappointed. I'm going to Check-in too. If she did any legal wrong to me I guess it's. Not a good place for the elderly., you have to walk up 3 flights of metal Stairs. The reason I rated the food not that good because we already know the service sucks , I Rated the food low was because I did the Korean ribs and they were very Chewy, so next time I tried the slice beef and it was from a really, really low cut of meat like chuck steak or something. So finally I did find one thing I did like, but everybody likes to eat their appetizer first. Nobody likes their meal being brought out 3 minutes after their appetizer. When you're spending that 30 plus dollars for 1 person. Out of my little social security check. That's okay, that they threw me out. They don't deserve my business. They don't deserve a good customer like me I was just thinking I didn't say one word to her. She was at another table taking an order, And start screaming. Get out because I made a noise on my table with my plate WOW!!!!! She hadn't Even come back to my Table After my dinner was brought 3 minutes after I got my appetizer for me to complain to her. I have been talking to her in my very polite way. Please, and thank you. She had no right to scream at me. I didn't offend her in any way. She thought she could throw me out because I made a noise with my plate.WOW!!!!! again. That's abuse In my case, elder abuse. The manager or no other employee would help me. There was no right to Scream at me, get out at the top of her lungs. Over 10 times I still can't understand why the owner/mgr. Did not stop The attack on this old man???? The food and service is hands down the very best restaurant we've been to in the past four year's that we've lived in this area. (Edit: We went here in December and the sushi and service had changed. It appeared that maybe they are getting a new owner. There was a new waitress who was older Asian woman waiting on our table. She argued with me that they never have served a crunchy deep fried sushi roll. She knew nothing about any of their sushi and didn't ask their sushi master. She just kept saying "We don't have that"! We wanted a tempura shrimp roll without cream cheese. That's not hard. We ended up ordering a crunchy crab roll and it was nothing but an expensive California Roll dressed up fancy for $15.95. It tasted ok but not what was expected from their usual high standards. This being said, I don't think you'd ever get bad tasting food here. When they realized the restaurant was getting too full with customers waiting outside the door they rapidly grabbed our plates and let us know we needed to leave NOW! We enjoy relaxing at an expensive dinner and having premium sushi with their premium pricing. Be aware of the very small print of the upcharge for a Bento Box from lunch to dinner and expect to pay around $20 for one. They also charge $4 extra if you want fried rice rather than steamed. Just starting ; I been at very good sushi Japanese - Korean places around L.A , Vegas and Florida.
This place is good ; but the vibe of some coworkers is not . I kindly asked to verify if the TV has the channel if one of the games I want to watch , the sushi bar employee not even touch the remote saying ‘no’ .
Several employees were walking around paying attention if somebody need something ; but in the meantime we waited 45 minutes for a sunomono , that never arrived but was charge in out bill , good thing I looked before I paid .
The food is good , standard I will say , but I still wondering how a waitress confused the name of the beer I asked Kirin Ichiban doesn’t sound like Sapporo . Oh well !! Some guy excuse her saying ‘ she doesn’t speak English ‘ buddy ; don’t hired people like that then , specially when they can’t smile after the fact .
During my meal ; some costumers ( I have to be specific ) white guys seating by the bar received an ‘special treatment ‘ getting full attention by the same sushi bar employee who refused to verify if their cable has my channel . And guess what ??? Like I knew , the cable has my game but when this costumers want to watch something this employee was going one after one channel to pampering this costumer , WOW ! He wasn’t ordering anything yet .
