We came here this past Sunday for the very 1st time. We waited approx 30 mins in line, and thought, well better be worth it. We then approached the staff to choose our doughnuts. The man who was going to help us started a conversation immediately with the lady (employee) next to him and failed to even greet us. He then walked away, and the lady employee, said, "sorry he had to take his break, but I will help you once I help the people after you" (I was shocked and very surprised đź) I said ok, thank you. The poor employee was trying her best. I said ok. But as I'm getting closer to check out, my excitement just dwindled down and I said to myself glad the kid's didn't come with us. (We all know how antsy some kiddos can get) Anyway, we then chose our dozen doughnuts đ© and proceeded down the line to check out, and we also ordered 2 coffees. Mine specifically was an iced Carmel latte, pinky style. The woman helping us asked if we wanted to upgrade any drinks to "pinky style" I said yes and felt the excitement I initially had come rushing back. She made the coffees and called our ordered out to go pick them up. There sat 2 coffees with no "pinky style". Well anyway it was our first and last time there. Doughnuts were good, I've had worse and better. So wasn't too crazy about it, especially after all that. Management should really work out a routine when breaks are needed for their employees. Because customer facing, it wasn't...
Read moreWe went to Pinkbox for Doughnuts, terrible terrible. Watch out the doughnuts sold at Pinkbox Laughlin, NV are not baked their, but shipped their every morning. I tried letting them know how bad their donuts I purchased were. I spoke to an employee on the phone, I'm not sure if he was a Manager or not, his name was Joseph. But he couldn't believe it, he ask me to text him the pictures, and then he still ask if I could actually take the donuts back to Pinkbox Doughnuts in order for him to inspect, especially since they were only a day old. I've never had any glazed donuts start flaking this bad the next day. I got to Pinkbox store in Edgewater Casino, Laughlin, NV and showed him how terrible they looked from the outside. Which he proceeded to tell me the outside will crack do to the flower & sugar, hum. Then he actually tore a piece of the donut and ate it, he said they tasted great. Even though the outside of the donuts looked terrible, he had to check the inside. He blamed our tastebuds, that it was a fluke, even though this was the third (3rd) time we purchased their donuts and we were hoping this time they'd be better. I couldn't believe his disbelief of how they couldn't be bad. I left not wanting a refund or any replacement donuts, I just wanted to let them know their food was bad. After I left he actually had the nerve to text me and ask if I could send him my receipt, are...
Read moreOh boy, this is a place to hit in Laughlin, Nevada if you love donuts.
They have a huge variety of donuts available and all of them are of great quality. That said, they taste best the day you purchase them. If you leave them for the next day, donut expect them to retain their freshness.
So far, Iâve ordered three different types of donuts: The Big Samoan, the Holy Cannoli, and the Purple Rain.
The Big Samoan was a tasty combination of chocolate, caramel drizzle, and toasted coconut. I ate it the day after buying it and the coconut wasnât exactly crispy. Everything else was tasty (though those with coconut allergies would think otherwise).
Next was the Holy Cannoli. Chocolate topped with chocolate chips and powdered sugar upon a donut filled with cannoli cream. If you like chocolate or filled donuts, you canât go wrong with this. However, thereâs a lot of chocolate so having some milk or coffee handy would be my recommendation.
And finally the Purple Rain doughnut. If youâre wondering about the purple color, itâs because the doughnut uses ube, a purple sweet potato. Itâs plenty sweet and has a nice glaze finished with a tasty purple crumb topping. That said, the Purple Rain has a subtle flavor. But overall, I thought it was tasty.
Overall, you canât go wrong with Pinkbox Doughnuts. If youâre in the area, youâll be in for...
