Last Saturday, my wife went by to pick up dinner for the family. Ordered the 12 piece Family Pack. You're supposed to get 3 breasts, 3 thighs, 3 legs, 3 wings, 2 sides, and 6 biscuits. Normally, we don't go here, but she was shopping with her mom. Usually, we get half spicy and half mild. In a hurry, she didn't check the order until she got home, which is 40 miles away. What she had was 3 breasts, 1 thigh, 8 wings, 2 sides of mashed potatoes, and 5 biscuits. No receipt in the bag. I immediately checked and they charged $39.88 for this so-called family dinner. I'm sorry, but we could have went to a real restaurant for $40 and had a nice dinner. She called the restaurant and the lady said she could come back and they would replace the meal. Ok, we thought that would be fine. So, she had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and we could go by and pick it up after that. When we went by, they refused to replace the meal. Some guy named Brad, calling himself the manager even though he didn't have any name tag or anything showing he was nothing more than just another crew member, comes from the back with an attitude. He says we're not only not getting a replacement, but he's tired of my wife coming in trying to get free meals and getting meals replacements. Said he was the one who packed our box and he knew what was in it. Said he had just done it 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm sorry, but we haven't been in that store since like 2018. We have our own Popeyes in Waynesboro and we usually get our chicken from there. This was a one time deal. Anyway, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. Either he lacks the skills to be anything close to management material. Personally, I would recommend anger management courses and long time off before I would ever, if ever he were put back into a customer service position or had any one on one contact with the individual consumer without direct supervision. Basically, calling the customer a liar to their faces, when you not only have no proof, but to fabricate the events against are borderline defamation of character and could lead to serious legal consequences. This is customer service at its worst and should not be tolerated by any means at any level. We will not be using Popeyes ever again, until this person issues a formal written...
Read moreMy family eats Popeye's at least once every single week without fail. Laurel has two Popeye's restaurants; this one on Leontyne Price Blvd and another one located on 16th Avenue. We drive a little out of the way to get to this store but I enjoy coming to this particular Popeye's because the employees are always so unbelievably polite and helpful. At this one, if ever the occasion there is a mixup or mistake in the order, the employees work out the issue while remaining so sweet that I could never feel inconvenienced in any way. This visit I, along with many other customers in the restaurant at this time, did have several problems occur but the employee responsible for causing all the confusion was obviously training as she did not have a name on her namatag. I'm guessing that this girl will not work out as a Popeye's employee. I hate to rate the restaurant negatively due to this single employee especially since every other person that works there is amazing at customer service; I only feel that I have to because the problems caused by girl coupled with her terrible attitude were that extensive. I do not hesitate to guarantee anyone that any visit to this restaurant at a time this girl is not working the register is sure to be a very pleasant experience and I recommend it always. I'm sorry for a negative review on this store, it is not typical. It is my opinion hands down, that this is the place with the best customer service in Laurel. I only cannot figure out how said employee got hired to begin with. As rude as she was it's hard to believe she would have bothered to fake a smile during a...
Read moreDon’t order from here! I placed my order at 10:12 p.m. online. It told me my pickup was 10:36 pm. I arrived and the little girl on the speaker asked me what would I like to order. I told her I was picking up for myself. She told me hold on. Came back and told me she didn’t have anything. How did you not have anything?? After asking me what I wanted to order she magically had nothing?? Then would not offer me any compensation and told me I had to put my refund request online. It was only 10:36. They are so unprofessional and inconsiderate of others time. I will be making sure I contact corporate about this. I have to wait 2 days just to get a refund because of this store unprofessionlism. I ordered 8 different things and they couldn’t fix one thing? Or at least fix...
