Our visit to this faculty was less than satisfactory. There was a sharp object in my friends food which ended up in his mouth. He stop eating on sought the attention of the manager. The experience was awful. He said we could stop eating and would give a refund. He refunded the amount for one meal then eventually refunded for all the meals. I was extremely disturbed and disappointed with his focus on getting paid for the food rather than the emotional trauma expedited by my friend and my depressed state from the entire experience. In addition, we were denied access to an area we were told closed, only to realize that we were pigeoned joke to a seat that need cleaning. Shortly thereafter, the alleged close are was open to other customers as evidenced by the waitress seating them to dine. The Manager mention that we could take a lawyer and take the issue to court. I was surprised and disappointed with his Managerial solution to the food that was contaminated by a foreign, sharp object. This Manager ( MR. Michael Lin) clearly did not express in any way that he was concerned about the Psychological discomfort I was experiencing during the entire back and forth, trying to explain that maybe, the object came from the container when Ghe bananas were open. My New Years Day Meal was nothing but Mental and Psychological Trauma. I found this Manager to be Insensitive and very focused on getting paid or not paid. I lost my appetite. I felt depressed, and even more depressed as he reduced the issue to money. I would not recommend any this food facility to anyone who care about the safety and quality of the food they put in...
Read more3 stars for the food - some dishes that had vegetables were good, some mystery seafood dishes had lots of mayo and gross, spring rolls that are mostly skin and scant filling… average cheap Chinese buffet food. 2 star for cleanliness - dining area has food strewn on the floor and not cleaned up promptly so eventually stomped to slippery smudges, women’s restroom also littered with paper towels and overall looked like it was hours since being serviced (mystery food bits on the stall walls). But the worst was our waitress. We ran out of water and needed a refill, and had difficulty flagging her (it was like she was ignoring my “excuse me” and hand waiving) and once I was able to flag her and asked for water she scowled. Then towards the end of the meal, my son had to go to bathroom (loose bowel movement possibly due to greasy food). The waitress stops me and says “no tip for me?!” as we’re rushing to the bathroom (because I was going to leave the tip in cash rather than charged with the meal paid before being seated since I’m never sure that method of tipping goes to the servers). It’s the middle of winter and we didn’t have our coats so it seemed pretty clear we weren’t leaving. This demand of a tip was very unpleasant, especially given the poor to mediocre wait service. The waitress serving the next table over seemed attentive and pleasant, so maybe I got a bad server or that table tipped ahead when they paid for their meal (and therefore paid ahead for reasonable service). I will NOT be coming to this place ever again. There are other better cheap Chinese buffets...
Read moreIt’s about time I give this place a review. 5 Stars all the way. I am the kind of person, always know the best Chinese and restaurants in the area. I have lived in laurel for 3 yrs. and this is where I go almost every day. FYI. I take the food out 99% of the time and don’t do the way in buffet option because I visit regularly and I prefer to eat at home. It is also cheaper for me because they weigh the food for take out. What you will love
I am so grateful for this place and they deserve a 10 star review! Btw, this is my assessment after 3 years of visiting this place almost every day. And I don’t usually...
